This is a neat little hammock. It’s sturdy and feels well made. To help with cleaning I line it with disposable scraps like newspaper or paper towels. Plus that provides a little extra fun plus coziness. On a wire cage, the clips are quick and simple to attach. It’s supportive of weight. It can easily accommodate a small animal or bird. Recommend!

Awww - my little "chillies" love this swing. One does love chewing it, as well, so I'm not sure how long it will be there. But it is great for as long as it lasts!

I really wanted to love this, however, I have a couple concerns. One, the chains on each corner were not the same size. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but with one chain being just one link shorter, the whole thing was off. What should have taken a "30 seconds" to install, took about 20 minutes to get those darn clips off the chains, linked lower and then back on. So frustrating!! I tried just hanging the longer chains further away, but my OCD would not allow the crazy look.Second, it smell really strong of pine. Untreated pine is toxic for chins but kiln-dried is fine. I'm not sure about this - it seems untreated, which means the oils are bad for our little guy. The description said non-toxic, but doesn't list WHAT type of wood is used. I'm not sure about other small pets, but chins can't have raw pine.Third, Smokey won't use it. I've left it in his cage for a week and he has absolutely no interest. I even put raisins in it - that way I would know if he went in it because there is NO WAY he would leave a raisin :P. They are still there.Since he has no interest, and I'm concerned about the wood used, I'll probably dispose of this.

This is a nice little hanging swing that I got for my pet rats. Whitey is modeling the swing in the picture. To give you an idea of size he is a sub adult male so this swing is a pretty good size. It's not varnished or sealed so the wood is going to absorb pet urine and be gross in no time at all. You could varnish or seal this if you wanted to make it last longer. Any pet that would use this is probably going to chew on it but that's to be expected, especially if you have pet rats. The chains are pretty sturdy and they come with nice cage attachments on all four chains. These are the sturdy attachment hooks and not the Cheapo ones so I don't anticipate this swing would be crashing down even if they get the Zoomies.

We got this for a couple of pet rats, it's a good size for them. The wood is unfinished, so it's safe for them to chew on, but also it will probably get gross over time. The chain is decent quality, and the fasteners make it super quick to install into a typical cage. Our rats aren't too destructive, but if you have voracious chewers you're going to need to watch out for exposed the screws. You never know if you're pet is really going to like something like this, ours jump on and off of it but don't just lay in it that I've seen. But seems to be a good safe addition to the cage.

Super cute wooden swing. It is well built and sturdy. It is exactly as described. It fits one chinchilla on it. It has a dual purpose. My chinchilla can use it as a swing/jumping platform and also chews on it. My chinchilla loves it and it gives him some extra engagement while he is in his cage. For $19.99, I feel the price is a little high though for the product and size.
