This is a perfect shape and nice design, however, the reamer came with a chemical smell that just won't quit after a couple of washes. Please look into this. Is it chemically sprayed/treated/where is it kept? Otherwise, 5 stars.

Gorgeous reamer with great crisp edges to really grab all the juices from the citrus. Comfortable in your hand and great weight. Ordering more for friends.

I have gotten this item before without any problems. But, this time, the first one came with splintering on it. I returned it for another one, and the second also has splinters. Shame because it is a beautiful piece and I know it works well, but I can't have it splintering in my food.

After seeing this being used by several professional cooks, I decided that I needed one for myself. I am so very glad that I purchased one! I use it at least a couple of times a week, and it has made juicing lemons, oranges and limes SO much easier, and I believe with much more of the juice being released. I have seen some comments indicating a problem with the wood splitting or splintering. I have not had any indication of that. It has been suggested to rub oil onto the surface from time to time, and I have done that .. wiping it clean after a few minutes.I definitely would recommend it, and I don't believe you would be disappointed. One other product that you might want to purchase (if you don't already have one) is a Microplane zester. Any time I use this reamer/juicer, I also zest my lemons or oranges to add to whatever recipe I am making. You'll be glad you did!!

This citrus juicer is very well made from beautiful wood, and works wonderfully...the handle is robust and fits the hand well. It's easy to clean (rinse after every use, do not put in dishwasher) and easy to maintain (rub down with olive oil every few months). What more could you want?

There are loads of choices for buying a simple citrus reamer and I am usually all about finding a bargain especially if they all are so similar in style and will all do the same job. But in this case I went for not only function, but for beauty. When my reamer arrived the first thing I did was rub it with Olive Oil and the grain just popped. This kitchen tool is not just functional and comfortable in your hand, its really a little piece of kitchen art. There are no instructions saying to Oil your reamer but I recommend you do. The Photo shows how my reamer looked after one light oiling with Olive OilUPDATE: March 23, 2018, My citrus reamer is used often and still looks as nice as the day I purchased it. It is hand washed immediately following use, and I always rub it down with Olive Oil to keep the wood from drying out and looking nice.

one of those tools that you buy and wonder how you ever managed without it - used every day now - a most satisfying and efficent way to get juice out of half a lemon - all the olive wood utensils I have bought from naturally med have been very good quaity

I love this little gadget.I have had it in my wish list for over a year but to save $ i bought one of those countertop jars w/reamer lid at the 2nd hand store instead and now it is going back.This little tool is wonderful, easy to use, and juices a lot better than the jar for some reason. It's a little more pointed so gets deep in the lemon with little pressure.A quick rinse is all it needs and there are no drain holes to dig pulp out of.I think the main reason i chose this one is the fact that it is wood.plastic is good and necessary for many things, but the less i use, the better i feel about my footprint.

Sehr schöne Zitronenpresse. Das Olivenholz ist etwas umständlich in der Pflege aber das Ergebnis ist erstaunlich. Sehr Representativ. Gut zu handhaben und praktisch das es in der Hand bedient wird.

This wooden lemon juicer is the exact tool the job calls for. Holding the lemon half over a small bowl and applying pressure with the lemon and the juicer at sort of right angles to one another with the point of the angle downward, and squeezing and twisting both the lemon and the juicer back and forth produced more than twice as much juice as I have ever gotten from a lemon by any other juicing method. I think this juicer is excellent for the purpose because of its shape which conforms to that of the lemon and because of the wood that it is made from which is polished smooth. It is also durable wood. And also I found this juicer to be the best choice because of the shape of the handle, which while working at juicing is easy on the hand.
