I’ve used this tent a few times since buying it a couple of months ago. It rained 24/7 the first time I set it up. No leaks, it held up great in the rain. It’s very easy to set up and take down. I can do it in the dark in 5 minutes. It’s light weight. It’s roomy inside. I love how it widens waist up. I can easily place items around me and not worry about rolling over on them. My sleeping pad is a Nemo and it fits perfectly with about a foot of headroom. I keep my shoes in the vestibule up against the door. They did not get wet in the rain storm. It’ll be perfect to hold my pack while backpacking. So why the 4 stars? The rainfly is not cut quite right. The picture shows the orange rainfly is not tight towards the front of the tent. Thankfully, it didn’t cause leaking during my 3-day rainstorm camp. I’ve messed with adjustment several times. There is too much material there. The green one is my cousin’s tent. Hers rainfly is tight in the same spot. It’s still a great tent for $100. I know it’ll serve me well for a few years.

Folks, Got the Naturehike 1-person tent this summer for my 10 day backpacking trip at the Philmont Scout Ranch with my son’s boy scout troop. My primary reason for selecting the naturehike were the weight, cost and great reviews for durability and weather resistance.I must say this little tent did not disappoint! Weighing less than four pounds it was no problem to carry the tent, the rainfly, stakes and the ground sheet, over a 100 miles in my backpack up in the new Mexico wilderness. In northern New Mexico, late July is monsoon season so it rained on each of those 10 days that we were out there, typically in the afternoons and overnight, including a couple of torrential downpours. This tent performed like a champ and kept me dry every day with no leaks or annoying drops of water inside. The waterproofing is excellent, construction and materials are high quality for a non-premium brand. I am sure I bumped into and tripped over the tent many times but no damage to report.A couple of cons, minor stuff in my opinion: Firstly this is truly a one person tent, "mummy" style, so there is not a whole lot of room inside. You get in there to sleep, or to lie down and take shelter from the elements and that is it. Changing clothes and maneuvering inside was a little challenging, but I found it perfectly acceptable for my purposes as I was not in the tent other for bad weather or sleep. Secondly, with the vestibule flap closed there's only a small vent for ventilation, it was not an issue for me as nights were fairly cool at the high altitudes where we were typically camping. But I can see the tent getting hot on a warm night with the vestibule closed. So keep that in mind if you plan to do a lot of summertime camping. Lastly the setup and teardown take a bit of time as there are around 14 stakes to put into the ground or pull out, little bit of an annoyance but again not a big deal as the result of this effort is a sturdy and weather resistant shelter.Definitely recommend this as a true 1-person backpacking tent that will keep you dry and warm, and get you a good night’s sleep regardless of the weather.

Update at the bottom but it is still highly recommended. It is light and that always takes a hit on durability. Know that upfront and be a little more careful with it because it is super easy to put up and very sturdy and actually durable with a little care. No muscling it in! With that being said it performed in every way it was supposed to and had no issues. It is the easiest tent I’ve ever put up. UPDATE:So I’ve ran it over a year. Anybody who rips or tears or breaks a zipper is putting too much muscle into it. Of course there is A defective product once in a while also. This is the best single man tent you could ever buy. I mean for $109 that is. Waterproof spray everything important twice. I do this with every tent I use every year. I spray the bottom side of the tent and the rain fly and also the footprint. The footprint that comes with the tent is also a really nice addition for $109 tent. I went through hail and tons of rain and wind. The windiest day on the Nebraska plains of the year. just point the tent which is the end where you put your feet directly into the wind. It cuts it like an arrow. I carry it on the back of a motorcycle so it has to be light and compact to be practical. I probably used the tent 40 nights. I can have this tent unpacked and put up including rain fly in 2 minutes. The support pole is one unit which really helps. The rain fly makes a small vestibule by the way. Perfect to keep stuff out of the weather or cook out of the weather without getting out of your tent if it’s super nasty out. And I don’t know why people are complaining about size and weight. First of all the specs are on the advertising picture at the top. If you pick the gray tent it doesn’t have a specifications page but just choose another color and it will tell you. But it is super light and small. As I said before that is the thing, to be very careful putting it up and taking it down. Watch yourself every time you open the zipper to get in. It’s $109 people. If you want to be able to muscle on your tent every time you use it then you do need to spend $500. It is what it is. I did a deep dive researching tents. I’m a very experienced camper and I just wanted to get the right thing. The closest tent is about 300 bucks. And that’s by what I could see. I mean that would have to be used and reviewed still. I’m sure you could match it for 500. All the stakes and pole Are aluminum. There’s two storage pockets inside the tent and a hook at the peak to hang a light or whatever. I don’t usually write long reviews but this is one of those things that deserved it. Thanks and enjoy
