I have the 1st Gen nest hello, and recently it stopped powering on. After researching online, I found it may need a new battery, so I snagged this kit from Amazon.Just to note, my package was missing the blue pick as pictured, however I had a spare guitar pick I used instead, and that worked fine.Opening the doorbell was a bit of a feat all of its own (sealed up with plastic foam, adhesive, etc). After watching a couple videos, I was able to pry it apart and install the new battery. After that, I plugged it up with a USB cable to make sure it would power on, left it plugged in for about 10 minutes, the. I plugged and moved it back to the front door and wired it up. It has been working correctly ever since (about a week now).The new battery is the same size as the old one, and was very easy to plug up inside the unit once opened. Putting it back together took about 2 minutes after.I deducted one star due to the missing item, however the kit performed as needed even without it.
