The material is great and looks nice, but I ordered both the small and the medium based on the size chart. My dog is about 18 pounds. Both the small and the medium fit like a crop top and barely covered his back. If it fit better, I would've kept the medium.

It's a little snug on my terrier mix, but she is extremely deep chested.

It did not fit my lab despite ordering an XXL. She is small for her breed, so I was very surprised that it did not fit her.
