I've bought other products like this before but they always fall apart. This badge holder is still in great shape and I work 30+ hours a week behind the bar where I am constantly hitting it on bottles, counters, and sinks!

Everything about this is great except for the "clip". The badge reel looks good, the cord is long enough and strong enough. The problem is with the slip-on clip. I don't know why anybody bothers to manufacture or purchase this type of clip: my experience is that they all slip off and everything is lost. That some people like this type of clip is true; I am not one of them.One of these days I hope to find an badge reel with my college logo AND an alligator clip. I had high hopes for this one but, apparently, today is not the day.Again: this item is as described. The quality is good. It's just not serviceable if the clip must be fastened horizontally instead of vertically.

I bought this one as a gift but have owned several myself. It is so much better having a fun badge holder than the plain one's companies issue to their employees. Easy way to show team spirit at work!
