It started to fail after the 3rd use. The gears are now very hard to turn. I think the issue is between the scroll and the jaw slides but I’d have to fully disassemble the chuck to be sure. I might be able to fix it by polishing all the gear splines and the grooves on the scroll but I shouldn’t have to do that level of work to get a brand new product to work. With just a little attention from the manufacturer this could give the big name chucks some serious competition.
