I live in Central Texas and it gets both hot and humid in the summer. You can only manage it with air conditioning so much without having to compromise your comfort so this made sense for me. Given the fair price compared to other options I had to give it a try.1 - Underestimate the volume of cigars it will hold. I've got about 200-250 in there at any one time but with the recommendation to keep it no more than 80% full, it pretty much maxes out there. But still holds quite a bit for the reasonable footprint.2 - Like other reviewers are mentioning, quirk-wise the shelves/drawer won't slide out even a little bit unless you open the door fully (180 degrees open). So make sure you have the space to the right of the door.3 - The shelves don't have any fencing on the sides or back. I'm sure they're meant to hold boxes but done that way you won't be able to hold much in there. I 3D printed my own shelves but there are other ways. You can also get additional drawers here on Amazon but they will increase your cost by quite a bit. You can always get creative here.4 - The included hygrometer in the door is not bad as far as a relative measure but its accuracy is a little iffy. I have calibrated smart wifi ones from Govee that I use along with Boveda packs to manage it all. So far no issues and the humidity hasn't drifted at all. The instructions say to give it a few days for the cedar to season but I went a little longer and waited a week before stocking it.5 - I'd say put it on a table. If its on the ground do lots of squats.6 - The door glass is reflective and the light is pretty useless. But that's also to keep out UV light and heat so there is a reason for it. Unless its just there for showing off some fancy sticks it shouldn't matter that much.7 - It is very quiet. I hardly notice any sound. Not a bother by any means.8 - The temperature digital gauge is not quite accurate. But like the built in hygrometer you can still really use it as a relative measure. Figure if you have it set at a certain number and you find that your sticks are in good condition and smoke well, that's probably around your target number. I'm finding that the inside of the cabinet is 2-3 degrees cooler than indicated which is just fine for me. Like I mentioned earlier I have Govees.9 - Will mention this because I noticed others did... I didn't notice any kind of "smells" when I got it, other than the natural spanish cedar smell of the inserts.I'm not knocking any stars off because I have no reason to. Even if the temp and humidity measures are not perfectly accurate, they still both hold great. Even if the door has to be fully opened to slide anything out, if you plan for it then why not. The price is definitely right and my cigars are now in a great environment and should keep for a long time.

I prefer to keep my cigars at 65/65, with this unit and a Boveda 320g pack life is a breeze. I do recommend getting a Bluetooth or Wifi hydrometer that is easy to calibrate. The unit seals tight and holds humidity very well . For the temperature control alone it’s worth the money and my wife likes how they blend in with the furniture in our living room and my office.

I use two wineadors one for my aging smokes and one for my everyday smokes. They look good extra drawers are easy to find(amazon,walmart.com,wineadors.com). Humidity and temp is solid as a rock(great seal). I do wish it was for wide and less deep, but a very minor complaint that's just my preference.Good wineador if your debating on switching from a traditional humidor I 100% recommend this one as someone who has had few different ones and has several friends with various competing models.

The unit was received defective. After 48 hours (which was the committed to time), the seller engaged. We went back and forth doing some troubleshooting. After they agreed it was indeed defective, they promptly shipped out a replacement unit. The troubleshooting exchange lasted a little longer than I would have hoped because of time zone differences, but they were very responsive. The replacement unit was received quickly and in fine working order. I will come back to this review and add an additional star in time, assuming there will be no issues with the unit moving forward.

1. Be careful opening or closing and make sure drawers pushed in all the way. You must open door 180 degrees in order to clear it when pulling open/out any drawers. Might not work for some people's installation. Just something to remember.2. So far it seems this fan is on constantly. I'm not sure if that's why there is such a huge difference in RH/Temp in different areas but things up higher are cold (and it's 68 degrees in the room and I have it set to 72). Maybe with time it’ll be better.3. The RH gauge that came with it mounted in the drawer is VERY inaccurate. Off by 10-14% (low) when compared against several others that are within2% accuracy. No way to calibrate it. I replaced it with a more accurate one. It's ok for the price but there are flaws. Checking the RH gauge for accuracy would be a good idea.I guess if the fan is designed to run 24x7 I'll just unplug it. I don’t need it to cool anyway (it’s kept in room that is always 68-71 so just gone gif cigars)Only other thing to future potential buyers - this has a very large footprint. Make sure you have the place to put it. It needs support for almost the entire footprint area or it will wobble, be leaning, or fall. Then again , the depth is a plus for boxes of longer cigars so the size can be a plus.It IS better than similar sized humidors that cost much more.Update: it seems that many of these electric units cannot keep temp less than 10 degrees from ambient. Meaning - if your room temp is 70-72 then it can’t regulate from 62-62. That’s how I read it and possibly why in a room of mine at 72 it kept keeping it at about 62-64 even when set to 74.And yes, this hasn’t heat, just cool (re:comments) but it cools too much. I don’t want my cigars down in mid-lower 60F.

Bought this for my growing cigar collection and I love it. Looks great and has a great seal. Being in the south west I have no need for the heating feature so bought the cooling only model and is holding where I set the temp.Only cons I have is light is useless but will rectify that with some led straps and would have made more sense to put at least 2 drawers and 2 shelves to help with singles and 5 packs.Overall very pleased with my purchase. Can't speak for longevity yet
