About this item

  • 【1-5 Stops Variable ND Filter】 The NEEWER ND2-ND32 Variable Filter is adjustable from 1 to 5 stops, with a rotating ring to reduce light intake and extend exposure time when shooting at slower shutter speeds and wider apertures. Perfect for capturing rivers, waterfalls, light trails and other moving subjects with dynamic motion blur.
  • 【Without Black "X" Cross】 The rotation range is limited to approximately 70°, and advanced cutting-edge technology lets you say goodbye to the "X" cross mark on images and other common problems with variable ND filters for wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
  • 【High-end Materials and Design】 Imported Japanese AGC 4-element optical glass ensures optimal neutrality and accurate color contrast and reproduction. Ultra-slim CNC non-slip aviation aluminum frame prevents wide-angle vignetting and ensures durability and anti-snagging.
  • 【Double-sided Multi-layered Nano-Coatings】 With 30 layers of Nano coating, the minimum light reflection rate is less than 0.1%, which reduces glare and ghosting, and also blocks UV rays from 300 to 380nm, while ensuring accurate color reproduction. Waterproof, oil-proof, dirt-proof and scratch-proof.
  • 【NOTE】 For long exposure, please purchase fixed value ND such as ND1000. Some ultra-wide-angle lenses may appear cross-shaped. Vignetting may occur with telephoto lenses, which is a normal situation.

I purchased this variable ND filter several months ago to use with a 16mm prime lens, but I hadn’t tested it thoroughly at the time. Recently, I used it with a 70-180mm zoom lens and noticed that the photos were coming out blurry. At first, I thought the issue was with the lens itself, but after running tests without the ND filter, I confirmed that the blur was caused by the filter. Unfortunately, it appears to be damaged or defective.

The quality for the price is good the only problem is that the lens hood doesn’t fit my lens with the filter on other than that perfect.

Using on a canon digital slr to reduce sun effect. Has been a fun filter for smooth effects. Recommended if you are looking for a limited light blocking neutral density filter. Good quality!

Be aware this has a clear green tint when shooting and there is visible vignetting unlike as advertised

Optics look good. A little tricky to adjust dial without accidentally unscrewing the filter. But I like it!

This filter does an amazing job, we went to an open field at 10 am the sky was clear and the sun was bright. Before I put this filter on I tried to film without it but it was too bright. I put this on and adjust the filter. It did an amazing job of blocking the sun and preventing the footage from being over exposed.
