I'll never miss picking up 6 double AA batteries off the floor, this one seems like it lasts much longer with brighter light. I've two of them now because after 3+ years the first one's charger quit working. Seeing the difference in price between the charger and a new kit, I bought the kit again.

I bought this light primarily as an off camera fill light for video close ups. However it works well with both my mirrorless camera and video cam. Because it’s constant light I can adjust my cameras and shoot without the closed eyes caused by a flash. Because it works well both on and off camera my setups are flexible and not limited to aligning the flash with the camera.

Très bon matériel le chargeur fourni n'a pas de transfo il faut en prévoir un de 2.1 A sinon le temps de charge est très très long et ça chauffe. Sinon c'est un éclairage impeccable pour les extérieurs sombres et les intérieurs (studio) le filtre marron donne une jolie couleur dorée (genre soleil de fin de journée.

Great portable lights that can attach to a variety of things given you have the correct attachment. You can use the included shoe or the threaded hole in the bottom.Lights can be quite harsh as the diffuser that comes with it is useless, so I’d recommend a soft box or diffuser umbrella. Aside from that they are easy to use and the batteries last forever. If the listing says it comes with batteries, then be aware that you’ll have a spare that you may never need to use.

Works well for my lighting situations, it is very bright at close distances. Good for portrait lighting and the price is good. Battery life is excellent.

I take photos of the progress of my model build and I have a very bright main overhead lamp which is good for working on models but not so great for taking photos.I am able with this lamp to get close to my subject and add light as needed to get the photo I want.I was a little disappointed in the time it took the batteries to charge after I received them. I'm sure they'll be fine overall.By accident I discovered these lamps make very good flashlights. I apparently attempted to donate a part to the carpet monster and I was able to find the part with the help of this lamp.I have tried the lamp and its range seems to be from illuminated darkness to very bright working close of course. The range is appreciated as I have more control. I got two of these and I believed they will be a great addition to my photo gear. I'll be able to have a main and fill light simply by adjusting the lamps.I would recommend these lamps there is a power source if you want to plug them in but I don't think I'll be using them enough to worry about needing to have an electrical source to use them.

Yo necesitaba unas baterías para cuando utilizo algunas de mis lamparas en lugares donde necesitaría tirar extensiones así que buscando encontré este paquete a buen precio, solo un poco más costoso que si hubiera comprado solo el cargador y baterías.No esperaba tanto de la lámpara sin embargo se siente muy solida, tiene indicador de carga de la batería y el nivel para regular la potencia de iluminación avanza en 1% comenzando en 10% que es lo mínimo y 99% lo máximo que indica además tiene una entrada para conectarle una fuente de alimentación.Las baterías y el cargador están muy guapos, se sienten de buena calidad así que seguramente volveré a comprar otro par de baterías y tal vez si me es útil otra lampara como esta.El cargador de baterías solo viene con un cable USB tipo A a micro USB así que necesitarán una fuente de alimentación que entregue idealmente 2.1 amperes para que la carga sea a buena velocidad y pueda cargar ambas baterías al mismo tiempo, si lo conectan a una fuente que genere 1 amper entonces solo se cargara 1 batería a la vez y será más largo el tiempo de carga.

These lights are priced well. They are extremely easy to use and are great for external shoots as they are battery powered and small. The quality of the build is solid and the extra screen on the back with the percentage of brightness is very useful.I would say they lack brightness in certain situations (if you are already in a bright environment) but want a little more light on your subject.However a great product none the less.

Bright light. Veey old school feel to it. I'm really disappointed it didn't come with a charger to directly plug into the device. Instead you must charge the battery. If it had come with a charger I would be completely satisfied.

I'm really impressed by this kit and the output of the lamp. It's good value at 43 EUR including two batteries and a charger. I really like the way the SONY NP-F battey platform has become the de-facto standard, so you avoid having a phletora of different batteries and chargers. The only downside I have identified, is that the filters don't do much - the white filter could have been a bit less translucent. Now I have ordered a small 8 EUR diffuser / softbox to see if it will do a better job.
