I like this quick release system. Its not the biggest plate but it works well for my medium/smaller lenses. I really like how adaptable this QR system is. It comes with an insert to go from 1/4" to 3/8" for tripods which is always nice to have. I constantly lose my Ronin plates so having an all in one system that works with my gimbal is fantastic. I'd recommend only using the plate and not the whole QR base with the gimbal as it adds a bit too much weight and height. I also love that it fits the Peak design V3, this'll save me a bit of cash as I no longer need their $20 plate. The base to this system is surprisingly robust, I get very little play and it feels extremely secure, especially with the second lock. It can be a bit tough to lock your camera in with one hand but it can be done. The same cannot be said for unlocking as it really requires a hand on the camera and another on the pinch-to-unlock levers. All in all, this is a really good one stop solution for people that need a decent plate with base. It only costs $10 more than Peak designs plate alone so it's a pretty good value. The all metal construction feels well made and I think Neewer has done a great job here.

I use quick release plates on several tripods, monopods, and other camera holders. I've been trying a few out over the last several months to identify best-of-breed, at least for my usage.PROS:+ solid materials+ metal used throughout+ able to attach to most of my devices (tripods, monopod, etc.)+ locks camera very securelyCONS:- dual-level locking mechanism is so tight (safe) that I struggle to release it- often takes two hands to unlock: one on lock, another on the tripod- hard to manage while wearing light gloves (winter weather)- may need 1/2" -> 1/4" screw adapter to fitCONCLUSION: Good solid quick release arca-swiss plate for many situations. Locking mechanism is much tighter than I like, but certainly keeps camera safe.

Very solid and high quality piece of equipment. It can function with regular Arca style mounts as well.

Robust mount. I really like how smooth the locking mechanism is and how solidly the plate locks in. I have a few of these arca swiss squares from Ulanzi, K&F, Falcam, Smallrig... and they all fit in this mount. But I like this Neewer plate because it has the little locking flange that will keep it from twisting.The only thing that I will point out is that this is very robust, but also it is a little bulky and heavy. I thing that is because of the extra metal so that the mount itself can have an arca connection.Overall another great item from Neewer.

Works great with my gimbal with no issues for me. Really like the quick release system. Comes in handy when switching from my gimbal to my tripod. Build quality is good. The design is ok and easy to use. Holds my camera securely as well.

Picked up this quick release plate kit for my hybrid setup, and it’s been nothing but reliable so far. The auto-locking mechanism gives a super satisfying click when the plate locks in, and once it’s seated, there’s zero wiggle or twist even with heavier mirrorless gear.The anti-twist design does exactly what it promises, especially if you’re switching setups quickly between handheld and tripod or gimbal work.It’s compact, well-machined, and the finish feels premium. For the price, it punches above its weight. If you’re running multiple rigs or need a fast, secure way to bounce between systems, this plate kit just makes your workflow smoother. Extra points for working with my other plates from K&F, SmallRig, etc. I appreciate the compatibility.

It never seems I have enough quick release plates. Saw this one and thought I'd try it out to use on magic clamp and/or a monopod for quick camera attachment. Construction seems solid with all, or at least mostly, metal - and you feel it. This little kit is surprisingly heavy. Usage is fairly easy but not quite as smooth as I'd hoped. You have 2 level of locking in the removable arca-swiss plate. On one side is a small switch (locked/unlocked). Set this to unlock, then use the lever on the side to disengage the quick release plate. You'll then be able to pull it out (which will be easier when it is mounted to something). To snap it back in and secure it, simply push down (hard) on the plate until it is firmly seated (this will take slight force, and you should hear a click when it clicks into place), then set the lock/unlock switch to locked. A 3/8" - 1/4" screw adapter is included for securing the base plate to your monopod/tripod/magic arm, etc. Overall this is very solid. Just note that is somewhat heavy. Also the base is wider than expected so I'm not sure how well-suited it is for my monopod (it is wider than the monopod pole).
