Really impressive for the price and I get some amazing shots with it that’s not possible handheld! My only minor nit is with my camera (a mirrorless with a lightweight lens) I do get some very minor vibration/jerkiness in the footage presumably from the stepper motor, but it is 100% smoothed out using Final Cut Pro’s stabilization feature.

I was unaware of how this would work, I gave it a try and it was easy to use and unexpensive

I was excited to set this up and test. Seemed well built (for the price) and it connected first time - all worked well until I played back the video.Unstable. Jittery. Not massive. But noticeable. This was with an iPhone 11Pro (which has good stabilisation).I found out from customer support that this was to be expected with anything below an iPhone 12, but iPhone wasn’t my main use for the slider.I then used the with a Sony A7iii and the results were great. Smooth, stable footage. No jitters.Setting up the camera sweep and angles was a bit hit and miss, but that is to be expected on a cheap consumer product vs paying more for something with more refined control.A good investment.

This motorized slider is the real deal! I've had so many bad experiences with other motorized sliders from Neewer and GVM. The biggest problem being the sketchy tablet and phone apps they include which contain security issues and malware. But this slider thankfully uses it's own cabled controller with a mini joystick. No need to connect to your personal electronics. The movement is a little slow at 15 seconds minimum from one end of the slider to the other, but it's not terribly slow. The movement is smooth and quiet and that's most important. Overall, I'm very happy with this setup.

This really upped my time lapse game. I enjoy making time lapse videos, having the camera pan while you are shooting really adds to it! The remote is corded. I knew this while ordering but that’s the only minor complaint. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

This is my second motorised slider purchased (the first wasn't the same brand) and what a leap forward this has been for me in terms of quality which was clear from the very moment I opened the packet. The biggest bonus for me with this model is not having to dismantle anything to return it to its case. With the motor mounted inside, I can just take it out of its carry case and its good to go.I paid a little more than last timeout it was worth it.The assembly is good, the finish is nicely done and it works as smoothly as it should.Happy.

I've been looking for a slider for years and was concerned as there always seemed to be a negative review or two for each model. This is a real review - I bought the product to improve the content for my YouTube channel. LIke most people, I'd rather not waste money on useless junk.Things I wish I knew - the slider comes with a ball head for mounting your camera. Set up was a snap - just connect the loose side of the belt and charge the battery and you're all set. Get a spare mount plate for your tripod. i'm using the slider on a Manfrotto 501 (so a large, sturdy tripod for heavy video equipment) - rock solid - zero issues. The slider is silky smooth and is made from quality materials - surprising at this price point. Carbon fibre rods and aluminum parts for the rest. Nicely anodized for wear resistance. Pull the belt mount tight - it's a standard sized GT2 belt and unlikely to cause issues (easily replaced if damaged).Things I think could use improvement - the interface. The controller connects via an RJ45 cable (shielded) - which is fine...I don't always want to be fiddling with multiple devices on my phone. The trick is to set up your shot BEFORE you connect the controller and page through the menus. The problem with the interface is there is no "BACK" command - once you've selected the operating mode (video or time lapse photography) you're locked in...no going back. No playing with various modes. Once you're in video, you're locked in and have to restart the controller (ON/OFF) - then it has to search for the start and finish points on the track. I did find this frustrating. Set your shot without the controller connected - then connect and you're set. This slider can also do panorama or single focus point shooting (it rotates the camera during motion) - easy to understand and set. I did want this feature and it works great.I'm impressed with the packaging - lovely case to hold the equipment and overall it works flawlessly, is smooth, makes no noise and I wish I'd invested in one years ago. I'm fine with the quirks of the controller. After using it for a week - I know exactly what I want to get the shot I'm after and it doesn't bother me.i gave it 5 stars as I was impressed with the value for money and how sturdy this slider is overall. It was much better than I expected at this price point.

It took me a couple of weeks to get around to testing this, but now that I’ve used it a few times I have to say I really like it. I wish I had gotten a longer version, but the 31.5-inch model is plenty long enough for 90% of my needs and a longer model wouldn’t fit on my table. It was easy to set up and use. The instructions are fairly simple and easy to follow. I just wish the print was larger, so it is easier to read. All necessary parts are included. It even comes with a ball head and battery and has a rather nice carrying case. Operation is easy as well. It adjusts for speed, direction, distance.Performance is great. I tested it using my Canon 6D MKII with a 24-105mm L lens and a larger pan/tilt head. This setup is quite heavy and the slider performed smoothly without any problems. I set the timer to take 1 minute from left to right and another minute to return. The timing was spot on.I’ve used it for three different video shoots including one where I need it to be on an incline of about 20 degrees. It did everything I needed. I expect to get a lot of good use out of this.I own a number of Neewer products and have come to expect quality. This definitely lives up to my expectations.

First of all, it is the right size for most needs. When I bought my first manual slider, I got a 4 footer because it was the longest available and I figured that I could always use only part of it. I regretted that decision because I never needed the full 4-foot run. I repeated that mistake with my first motorized slider. Although I'm sure there are different lengths for this product, I think this is the best in terms of what you will actually use, and most of all, portability! This is a complete kit. With the ball head, Allen wrench and extra screws/adapters, carrying case, slider, battery with charger, built-in bubble levels, and six different kinds of shutter release cables (for time-lapse work), it's all you need in one place. Some slider kits don't come with a ball head or other such device, battery, etc. Another plus is that you can also power the device via a USB-C port. With that option, you should never find yourself without power options.I have never been disappointed by Neewer products. This slider kit is no exception. I tested everything and found no flaws in design or manufacturing. That is not a given these days. I tested a competing slider and right away, I found that the stubby legs for optional placement on a flat surface (table, etc.) were not well-designed and it was virtually impossible to rotate one of them. No such problems with this kit.It has everything you would expect and need. Additionally, things that can be adjusted have gradations, which allow you to repeat prior settings or just make fine, measured adjustments. There are machined holes in the ends for attaching dual tripods or mounting the slider vertically. The toothed belt can easily be loosened or tightened, and the drive gear will give if there is too much resistance. For example, if you forgot to unlock the sliding carriage, the belt will slip rather than break or burn out the motor. That's good. It does mean that you have to be careful if you are doing vertical movements. Check the weight of your gear vs. the give of the belt, or just don't use heavy gear when shooting vertically. These days there are plenty of high-quality, light cameras, including smartphones and small handhelds.Highly recommended.

I do occasional videography for new products, and this has been wonderful to add to my arsenal. I usually use my steady cam for tight shots, but this slider really upped my footage to look even more professional than before. Overall, this is another solid product from Neewer. They've really stepped up their game lately.
