1. Plug the extender into a power outlet near the router. Wait for about 20 seconds until the repeater's on indicator light blinks slowly;
2. Go to your phone's WiFi connection page and select "wifi-XXX" to connect. (If you cannot find the name of the WIFI-XXX, it is recommended to turn on your phone's airplane mode and then turn off the airplane mode). ;
3. Connect to "wifi-XXX" and then jump directly to the browser page to set the WIFI information of the repeater, Login Password:admin,then connect your wifi router name and enter the password(Note:password cant used ""）,set your extender SSID and password,note that the password of the repeater set inside needs to be the same as the WIFI password of the router!!! Click:start connect,wait 30-60s ,set successfully ,Green light on

1、Q: Mobile phone settings or computer settings?
A: Mobile phone or computer can be set. Recommend cell phone setting, more convenient and fast.
2. Q: Can't find the wifi name of the repeater?
A：Press and hold the RESET button for 5 seconds on the side of the repeater using the card pin included in the box, then open the airplane mode on your phone and then close it, and search the network again.
3. Q: Why didn't it jump to the repeater setting page?
A: First, make sure the cell phone (or computer) is connected to the "wifi-XXX" WIFI, if it is not automatically jumped to the settings page, manually enter 192.168.11.1 to enter the settings.
4. Q: Why is there still no network for the repeater after the setup is completed?
A: Check whether the WIFI password set by the repeater is the same as the WIFI password of the superior router, this must be consistent.

It should be still working after five months but it stopped and now a piece of plastic. I wish I read that this item had frequent returns. I do not recommend this product.

Ordered this range extender on Jan 2, 2025 and it stopped working on Feb 15, 2025. Fifty bucks down the drain. Next time I purchase it from Best Buy or Walmart where they have a no-hassle return policy

While it worked well, it did not last 6 months. After 5 months of use (only to connect one device the entire time) the device stopped working. The lights went out and it makes an odd noise.

First, lets talk about the "how-to" from an experienced IT guy.1) Plug it in.2) Connect to the "WiFi 5G Pro" or something close to that.3) It automatically opens a web browser page to the device itself.4) You pick the network name (ssid) and the WiFi channel it's broadcasting on to determine if it's on the 2.4Ghz (Longer range, but much slower speeds) or the 5Ghz network for your router which these days is standard unless you're trying to connect "Smart home" type devices such as web-based security cameras, Robovacs, humidifiers, thermostats, etc. For this you WILL need the 2.4Ghz band to be extended, not the 5Ghz. It doesn't strictly tell you what to use for the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz, so here's a breakdown. 1,6, 11 are 2.4Ghz. Higher numbers like 149 are 5Ghz.5) Put in the passkey for that router you're connecting it to.6) Set the ssid that you want to show for THIS device (The Repeater that you're setting up)7) Complete the setup.8) It will reboot, give it about 30s-1minute to do so and then go to your wifi settings and connect your devices to THIS device (The ssid/name that you gave this repeater)All your internet connectivity woes will be solved.Now, from a professionals standpoint, I'm currently residing in a motel with very bad wifi, but I needed to be able to do some of my work from my place. I'm in a corner room and pretty far from the closest access point as I get about 1 bar of signal. I plugged this device in to the power outlet in my room, set it up in about a minute, connected to it and unlike my standard 1 bar of strength connection to the access point of the motel where I got 1-5mbps download and about 1mbps upload, I'm not getting actual speeds of 72/22 like I should be. Unlike another repeater that I've used before, this one doesn't seem to have any drops in connection or random lose power issues. I'll keep you updated in my review on if and how this device keeps working!

The Mbps for up load and download is very low, but it does Extend the signal beyond the point where no signal was
