The batteries are installed, some of the things which has to be packed unpacked. In general I have a feeling that it isn't a brand new, but it is used one which was re-packed.

Works as expected. Lots of nice options. Little on the cheap side as far as quality but does work well.

So, let's talk about the fact that this tester shows a G for testing shielded cable- however I have tried everything I can possibly think of to get it to show that the shielded(grounded) test works & the tester fails to show this! Such a basic function of any tester nowadays! It feels like a cheap crappy build, okay I understand the price for what all it does,,, but it most certainly does hit key marks! Also, keep in mind if the battery dies when you need it you must wait for it to charge as you CAN NOT USE IT WHILE CHARGING. Again this tester falls short of the price point, but the LCD screen is amazing!Update: Once again another feature I found that doesn't work.....at all! Is the port flashing function, I simply needed to identity a port on a Netgear switch & it does not flash the transmission lights. I'm feeling I got ripped off by this product. I would absolutely under no circumstance recommend this product nor Nasedal. Save up & buy a functional product.

The menu is a bit confusing and needs a bit of fiddling to learn how it wants to work. The display is good. The tone generator and the detector don't seem to do a good job of discriminating between cables in a bundle, so it doesn't help much for tracing at the router where there's a bundle of 10 to 50 cables. All tracers tend to have this problem. Usually raising or lowering the strength of the tone can help with isolating the cable, but I found this tracer to be difficult to "squelch" to find the right cable being traced. Also the signal wasn't carrying well on 50 foot or longer segments. On very short segments, under 20 feet, it worked normally.

En lo que respecta a la función de multimetro funciona bien al igual que el localizador de cables en lo que falla es el mapeo de cables UTP

This had made testing Cat6 so much easier. I have tested POE and other functions. Does its job well. Easy to use and has so many functions.

I have not used this much yet, so still testing certain aspects like toneing, but so far cable testing and cable length measuring are working out well. I will not be using this as a volt-ohm meter, but that is a nice thing to have if I should ever need it.

I tried out the ET526 Network Cable Tester, and it’s been really handy. The screen is big and easy to read, which helps a lot when checking cables. I used it to test different ones like CAT5 and CAT6, and it even worked with some older phone cables. The PoE voltage tester is simple to use, and the wire tracking feature made it easy to find where cables go. The port flashing tool is useful too, especially when trying to match cables to the right spots. It feels solid to hold but isn’t too heavy. Most of the features were easy to figure out without needing the instructions, though they’re there if needed. The included ID remotes made testing several cables faster than I expected, and the battery lasts a good amount of time. If you need something for testing Ethernet or other cables, this works well without being hard to use.

This test set has about everything I can think of. The primary tool has a big and easy to read screen. It has graphic prompts to show you which port to connect to for each function. It has a built-in rechargeable battery which is pretty convenient. The worst thing about this kit is the instruction manual. It comes with one and it is written in english but it is poorly written and unclear. With a bit of time, you can figure it out and I really like the kit but I did find the instructions quite frustrating. One thing I’ve noticed. If you have a cable that is made up wrong, the function to identify the cable using the numbered boxes on the other end may give a bad answer or not work at all. I had one cable I inadvertently switched two wires. The #1 and #3 box both reported to be #1 and the #2 box did not work at all. Maybe I don’t fully understand everything about this tester and if I don’t, you can blame the instructions. The tracing tool is a pretty good tool for testing a cable. That’s how I figured out I had made a mistake on the cable. It has a series of LEDs that should light up in sequence. On my bad cable, it was not going in order. It also has the ability to identify a single cable from a group by transmitting a detectable signal from the primary tool that can be detected with the tip of the detector. The primary tool also doubles as a digital multi-meter that is complete with test leads and a thermistor temperature probe. It also had the ability to measure the length of cable and to analyze POE cables and give voltage and polarity information. The kit comes in a nice zippered storage case with elastic straps to retain the tools and cables. I almost took one star off the rating for the poor instructions but I really like the kit otherwise.
