We recently adopted a rescue who barked at everything – cars, squirrels, even shadows. Training was slow, and we were exhausted. This ultrasonic trainer changed things fast. The two modes (sound and vibration) let us gently guide his behavior without scolding. It’s easy to adjust and didn’t require a steep learning curve. We noticed improvement within days – he now pauses before barking, and often just walks away instead. He’s less stressed, and so are we. Plus, it’s humane – no prongs or shocks, just a little nudge. I’d recommend this to anyone struggling with an anxious, noisy pup.

This stopwoofer is a great hand held device that really works. My dogs don’t like the sound of it whether it’s the noise or the silent one we don’t hear!! They immediately stop barking! Now all I have to do is show them the device and they stop barking!! Has a long battery life too and small enough to carry with you. Thank you for this terrific device.Karen S

As someone who suffers from frequent migraines, my dog’s barking in the early mornings was unbearable. I tried training, treats, and even white noise machines – nothing helped. This ultrasonic bark deterrent finally did the trick! I especially like the dual mode – I started with vibration and gradually introduced the sound. It’s effective but doesn’t scare or harm my pup. The device is adjustable and lightweight, so it doesn’t bother him at all. After just a week, his barking has gone down dramatically, and I can finally sleep in without a headache. So grateful for this tool!

Our house is much calmer thanks to the Stop Woofer. It is easy to use, easy to charge, and even has an attachment so you can wear it around your neck. Since you don't have to add batteries, the value for price is great. I love that it doesn't cause the dog any pain, there is no medication to give; just sweet, obedient, quiet dogs. We have three dogs, the newest addition: a beautiful female Great Pyrenees. Does anyone know a prominent character trait of Great Pyrenees? That's right, they bark.... a lot. She pulled an all nighter a few weeks ago, nothing I did got her to settle down. She sleeps inside at night since we don't have a fence, so the barking issue needed to get resolved. I tried trazadone- not recommended- as this made her more agitated, and extremely irritable/aggressive the next day. So, I searched, and searched, and decided to give this tool a try. Oh. My. Word. I can't even believe how well it worked! In two nights she was responding to the Stop Woofer. As you can see from the picture, she responds to me holding it- I don't have to hit the button anymore for low-level misbehaving. As an added bonus- it also works on my older labrador/beagle mix that yells alot when we don't share our food with her. I have only had to use the ultrasonic button once with her. She also responds to seeing me pick the Stop Woofer up. Time will tell if it continues to work, but for now I am a believer. Highly recommend watching the training video on how to use the Stop Woofer from the company to fully understand how to use, but I definitely recommend the Stop Woofer for those with outspoken dogs!

The device arrived quickly and my first impression is very positive. It feels solid and well-built—definitely doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel. I haven’t had to use it yet, but based on the strong reviews from other Amazon customers, I trust it will work well when needed. I got this device to see if it will work on my neighbor’s annoying dog who barks incessantly and my neighbors don’t seem to care to do anything about it. It’s compact, portable, and seems easy to use. I’ll update this review if I get a chance to use it in a real situation, but for now, I’m glad to have it as a precaution.

Living in an apartment complex, I constantly worried about complaints due to my dog’s barking. Sure enough, neighbors started hinting at the noise. This ultrasonic device has been a huge relief! I appreciate that it has both vibration and sound modes – the flexibility helps depending on the day or situation. It’s also super easy to adjust and fits comfortably. Within a few days, my dog was calmer and barked significantly less. It didn’t frighten or stress him out either, which was important to me. It’s humane and actually works – finally, no more anxious neighbor run-ins.

I have a 7-year old yorkie, and I was skeptical that this device would work but it does! I haven’t even had to use the ultrasonic sound yet because the regular beep sound does the trick for us. Any time a door is opened in our house, our dog barks even though it’s just us. If you tell her to hush or shut up, she barks more. With this device, you give them a warning by pointing it at them and telling them to hush, and if they continue to bark, you push the sound button and it emits a somewhat soft beeping sound that immediately shuts my dog up. I haven’t used it for anything besides barking, but apparently you can use it for other bad behaviors. My dog is very well behaved other than the barking, so it’s fantastic for me. It comes with a removal string so it can be hung on a hook or even your neck if needed. It’s also rechargeable and comes with a charging cord, but I haven’t had to charge it yet. Overall, my dog hasn’t barked as much as usual, and I’m sure it’s because of the device.

I adopted a ranch breed dog (I’m familiar with the breed) he is a reactive barker. I’m not one to use a shock collar, so I thought I’d give this a try. IT WORKS.When he randomly barks endlessly at neighbors going to their car or whatever, I’ll give the device a quick tap, HE STOPS BARKING AND WALKS AWAY. Thats all it takes!The key is to tap the button within 3 seconds of the reactive barking. Do not hold down the button, just one quick tap.He does bark when squirrels jump in the yard and he chases them out, that’s ok. But this device will stop his random barking for the comfort of my neighborhood. So, there’s a difference, this is the training.When using this device, please keep that in mind.
