I used the LM723cn to replace an old MC1723cp in an Astron power supply. I unplugged the old DIP, plugged in the new LM723cn, and the power supply works like new. The chips were packaged well. As far as I can tell, they are brand new. A look at the 14 pins tells me that. If I read the date code correctly, they were made in early 2021.

They are all dirty. I don't know if they ever work. My circuit doesn't work.
