I needed three of these for a retro computer project. I tried every combination of three from the six that came, and could not get a working set. Do yourself a favor and buy from a more reputable source.

Using in a 5V to 3.3V application. First chip worked for a few days before failing. Second chip didn't work. Third chip is working... for now...

This device is good for fast level conversion that is one-directional. If one-directional is what you need, this type of IC can be better and simpler than other approaches. I tested between 1.8V and 3.3V and vice-versa.
