This is a great selection if you don't know what wire you'll be using ahead of time. You'll find one that fits.Nice quality with a good seal. Very happy.

Its nice to have a wide range of sizes. At first I thought maybe some sizes were too close but having used a few of these now that's not the case at all. If anything even more granular sizing would be nice but these are mostly adequate. For certain cables it can be hard to find a size that isn't too big or small, but not the fault of this kit.Physically these install securely and you can really crank down on them (within reason) to secure to the box and the cable. In fact to get it really tight I do think you need to use a wrench, not just finger tight, since there is too much friction as it gets back 2/3rds tight or so.This review was for "New Age America® 26pcs PG Cable Glands Kit KableLock™ | PG7 - PG19 | Black | Nylon Cord Grip Strain Relief | Adjustable Locknut Cable Connectors | IP68 Waterproof | PG7, PG9, PG11, PG13.5, PG16, PG19"

A true complete IP68 rated Gland Nut. As opposed to other suppliers on Amazon, this product is complete with rubber insert washers on BOTH ends, inside the splined outer entrance, and for the backing nut that holds the bulkhead pass-thru securely to the chassis. BOTH are required for true IP68.I like this brand because as you can see in pic 2 (as a comparison with another brand), that the threads are deeper and lees likely to break when tightening down on the rounded head nut (which happens all too frequently). This polyamide nylon is tough stuff and should take more abuse than other "cheap" plastic cable glands that often break or slip the threads when tightening the backing nut against a chassis. The only negative to this is that the rounded tightening nut with its deeper threads is not compatible with other common brands. Hence, if you loose or break the tightening nut on a piece of equipment, you cannot substitute just the "head" of this brand. Not a biggie, but you should know. For what its worth, the chassis nut thread is the same as other brands. I know that it doesn't appear that way in the pics, but it is.The selection for me is a bit odd, as it includes sizes that I would think should be made out of metal for strength on the huge wires. I do not foresee using the very large sizes, and would rather double up on the PG7's that are (IMHO) far more ubiquitous.

These new style strain relief do work well and I will definitely reorder the smaller size.I am deducting one star from the kit, though, because I can't see the logic in this variety kit. Most of these sizes are absolutely HUGE, far exceeding the diameter of any wiring that I have in my home, car, shed, etc... including far too big even for the thick wires going to my external AC unit. The larger sizes are truly huge and apparently only encountered in large industrial use.For that reason, the kit seems ill-conceived in my opinion. More than 75% of this kit are only for wires of enormous diameter, so will be totally useless for most homeowners or farmers. In other words, the kit is not a good value because the sizes are way too big for any homeowner/farmer needs. But if you order the smaller, more practical sizes, you are getting very nice strain reliefs and that is something I can recommend. Therefore, 4-stars just pass on the kit unless you have industrial warehouse needs.

This is a very nice selection of connectors that feel very well built.I've put up some pictures of what you get and the individual parts of the cable glands themselves. They come with gasket for the cable, as you would expect, and another gasket for the case to gland connection (as you would again expect). This also comes with a nice case with latches that are separate from the case itself (so they won't break off after a few uses). There's also a chart included with info on each side. The included packaging says these are packaged in North America, but it doesn't say if they're made in North America or not.One last thing I just noticed, which I haven't seen on cheaper versions of these connectors, is that the acorn-style nut on the cable end of these has tabs on the inside to prevent it from loosening. As you tighten it, it makes a ratcheting sound as it tightens down. You can still remove the nut after tightening, but it takes a bit more force to overcome that. This is a very nice addition (more pictures added!)Moving forward, these New Age America cable glands will be my go-to. They're just a lot nicer than the cheaper ones I've used up to this point.

Good assortment of sizes to accept a wide range of cables. Easy to install, although the threaded end could be a bit longer to fit thicker panels.

I ordered this kit for running cables out of several project boxes that I have going. The assortment of sizes is great to be able to run cables from the boxes and keep the box watertight. These have fit every cable size that I have run and I have had no concerns about the connection not being perfectly sealed. I am glad that I ordered this product so that I can have properly built end products.
