I first saw a machine like this at a friend’s house where we enjoyed a great time singing karaoke, then I looked around Amazon.ca and found this 4T one (desktop type) which looks good to me. It arrived timely after my order. I unboxed it and hooked it up easily with my AV system, and everything works like a charm with tons of karaoke songs in Chinese, English, Japanese, etc. It has a 2.4G Wifi capacity to download more from InAndOn cloud server, and it may take less than one minute for a MTV karaoke (but it depends on the speed of your internet service). It is indicated the machine supports 4K video, but my 4K projector can only receive 1080p (@60p). Anyway, it is not important, as most karaoke songs are not updated with 4K, many of which were recorded in old times when had no high definition TV yet and they can’t be remade as some singers were not with us anymore (like Teresa Teng!). I shouldn't forget to mention this machine can also serve as a vedio player for movies/vedios/pictures stored in an external hard drive via USB. It also has a recording function if you are sort of a professional singer who wants to take advantage of singing together with the music of the karaoke songs. I haven't found time to try this out yet.The machine is designed with its built-in screen for searching, ordering and managing songs while your TV only shows the song that is played for singing. And its screen can also show the song that is being sung on your TV. The 22’’ touchscreen works fine for me - very responsive, and I don’t feel any lagging. The menu is well designed, but can be simplified, I believe. Also, a bit smaller screen (19.5’’?) is good enough, as it saves a bit space, unless you don’t have normal eyesight and feel difficult to look at smaller fonts/pictures.It also has a built-in Youtube button and you can queue whatever you find from Youtube together with the songs you select from its local disk. You can also swap its internal hard disk with a bigger 3.5’’ disk through diskcopy, which needs a bit more PC skills. It’s not a big job at all. Its motherboard has two USB3.0 ports, but I am not sure if the two on the side of the screen are 3.0, as their color is not blue but white. Anyway, it doesn’t matter to me, as I don’t use a USB drive that often (since it has built-in wifi function). The machine doesn’t have a Bluetooth, so there is no way for you to hook it up with a Bluetooth audio system. I guess such a design is due to the fact that audio signals transmitted via Bluetooth will have some lagging, which can’t well synchronize with video pictures for singing karaoke.If you consider a machine like this, here are some tips: The machine is only an AV player installed with lots of songs locally and downloadable remotely, so you shall have your own AV system, such as a TV or projector in addition to a matching audio system (I used a simply way of 5.1 soundbar). It will be better if you can have an amplifier for 2.1 speakers, with a mixer with wireless microphones. But you can also use the old style of microphones with cables that connect to this machine (you shall need a mic splitter if you have multiple microphones).In sum, it’s an excellent investment, which keeps you happier, healthier and more energetic (if you can regularly sing 15-20 minutes a day). It’s also great for family gathering and parties at home and you shall enjoy a lot more fun together with your family/friends – it doesn’t matter if you are a good or bad singer. Highly recommended!

Great Customer Service!I received a unit and it’s working but had a small defect on the screen. I informed the seller and surprised that they sent me another unit.The machine came preloaded with countless Chinese, other Asian and English songs.My parent sings karaoke. This machine has all the golden oldies songs for them. It’s very easy to operate and will link with your smart phone to act as a remote.No need to pay for subscription.Built in songs will let you play almost anywhere with out having to connect to the internet.We connected to our existing amplifier and the sound quality was great.The user manual print font was very small and the content could have included a more comprehensive instructions on how to use the machine’s many features.

This Karaoke player has huge potential but failed in many areas. iOS app connectivity is terrible, built in apps are extremely slow to launch. Screen would turn blank in song selection. Playlist would often disappear.There are better options out there. Stay away from this unit.

Very easy to use and setup. Great karaoke machine if you sing Chinese songs because the library is pretty elaborate. The screen is responsive, and there is no lag. Also, the phone app is more stable than I imagined it would be, only down side is the app on the phone only shows the downloaded songs and not the ones on the cloud. I would recommend this machine!

This karaoke machine is amazing! We were able to easily navigate through the menus and go to YouTube to find additional songs! The seller was able to provide first class service in helping us set up is device to my existing system. This machine was definitely a crowd pleaser! We only know English songs and found this system easy to navigate through and the touch screen was karaoke bar quality! Felt like we were actually in a karaoke bar lol

The item was defective, I just used for 4 hours and then the machine won't start on or power on, I have to return it.Has English but more on Chinese singers.Probably it's nice if they have English too that would be great!. I gave 3 stars only. Seller was good responded got my refund.
