Your cart is empty.The item for sale on this listing is a new 1 male npt by 1 female npt air compressor in tank check valve, with 1/8 female npt threads on the side for un-loader port. Check valves are used to prevent backflow of air. This style is used to directly screw into the air tank and keep pressure from leaving the tank and putting pressure against the compressor pump once the compress is shut off. This item is made in the United States. Specifications: Air inlet threads: 1 Female npt which measure about 1-8/32 in diameter. Outlet threads: 1 Male npt which measure about 1-9/32 in diameter. These threads are male threads that screw into the air tank. Side un-loader port: 1/8 female npt threads, which measure about 10/32 in diameter. This port is used for a un-loader line, some compressors do not have this. If your does not, you would just plug this port.

Works very well but the tolerance is to close. The valve expands faster than the housing and doesn't allow air flow. I have to heat the outer brass once it starts getting cold out. I thought the compressor was knocking when it first started happening.

20210918, Day 1:This valve fit well. It connected right up to the mechanical unloader and holds air in the tank!!Now my antique USACO FA9811 can go back into service. Hopefully it will last another century...

This is made of brass which I think is better than the steel one I replaced. The steel one rusted preventing the check valve from sealing.

Great quality and well built.It saved my contactor, motor and overload relay as the old one was not closing properly, leaving full pressure to the heads.Something so simple to replace, inexpensive will prolong the life of all the other expensive parts of any compressor.A bad valve will force your motor, trip the overload or breaker and may burn your motor.
