Good product. Easy to install. The cable is nearly identical to OEM. The color or the light color is a bit cooler than the OEM version. Overall, good price and a good replacement light cable.

I bought this to repair/replace the proximity sensor on an Iphone 5S. Installation was straight forward with an online video. The part functions as intended.

I purchased this to fix my wifes iphone SE as her proximity sensor was not working which would cause her to mute calls by accident when it was up to her ear. I was able to get the new proximity sensor to work however I had to remove the black film from the iphone glass first, not a big deal. What has become a problem is that the front facing microphone only works intermittently which has caused us to miss precious moments of audio from video of our toddlers. The microphone goes from recording audio to recording static. From googling there is apparently different microphones between iphone 5s and SE. I am not happy with this product.

After replacing a broken screen, everything worked except the front-facing microphone; Siri couldn't hear me and videos made using the front-facing camera didn't pick up any sound - all that I heard when playing them was a slight buzz. What I realized when retracing my steps to replace the screen was, powering off the phone wasn't enough; I should have disconnected the battery also. This must have shorted out the cable for the microphone. So I ordered this with the hope that replacing it would fix it. And thankfully, it did, and the camera and proximity sensor also work. This part does not come with instructions so I relied on an iFixit article for that. Be aware - the camera on the original part is fastened to the rear panel of the screen with copper-backed tape, which does not come with the replacement (one star demerit). I was able to detach and reattach the tape to the camera on the new part, very carefully, then fold the cables like the original part and install it. Very relieved that everything works.
