These hand guards installed perfectly for my KTM 390 Duke. I modified both as to allow retention of existing hardware. They are sturdy and of excellent quality construction. They pushed the wind near completely off your arms. Whole heartedly 100% recommend this product!

Much better than the OEM FJ handguards. Reduced overall bar width by a few inches and provide much better wind protection.

As other reviews have stated these handguards work perfectly on a 2015 Yamaha FJ-09.Using the GIVI D2122S windscreen. As many FJ-09 owners know the stock handguards will not allow the handlebars to move to full lock position if you use an aftermarket windscreen. These all-plastic handguards have relief cuts on the top that allow unimpeded movement of your handlebars. I find the air pocket created by the KTM handguards to be better as well, maybe a 5"-6" tall pocket around your hands. Also in the cockpit there is much less bulky plastic in your field of view, a welcome change I didn't know I needed.-Keep in mind that these handguards are all plastic. the plastic pieces will need to stretch and bend around one of the handlebar bends to be fastened securely. Longer bolts would be better if you have them. The kit comes with locknuts, thankfully.-The KTM handguards will eliminate your stock bar-end weights and replace them with a simple bolt. I can't comment on if it increases vibrations more than normal.- I would not assume these handguards would hold up to serious offroad use due to their plastic construction. YMMV.Overall, a better fit for me over the stock handguards.

Straight up perfect fit for my Yamaha FJ-09 ! Decent protection from the wind... I don't expect them to keep my hands from any cold in the NC winters!

These KTM handguards fit perfectly onto my 2016 Yamaha FJ-09. They are less bulky than the original guards, so they clear aftermarket windshields much better. I have the Madstad windshield, and these handguards work perfectly with it. I think they also look nicer than the very angular original guards.I found out about these on the FJ-09 discussion forum online.
