The plastic used on the sprag is better.On another brand I bought on Amazon it failed on the first use I recommend this brand.

Bought a 900 watt generator at Harbor Freight for a rainy day. Needed something to run the furnace motor in the event of a power failure. Well when my daughters Power went out and she needed to run her sump pump, I thought I would give it a try. So after four years on the shelf I unboxed the new generator. I read the instructions mixed the fuel and oil and tried starting it. We’ll to my surprise the cord pulled out and never went back in. Than I had to take the recoil part off and found the plastic inside was broken. So Amazon to the rescue. New one fit perfectly, after a few pulls the generator started. A little late to use it but it works. Only one minor complaint, the rope is about a foot shorter than the original. So make sure you test how far it pulls out.

The replacement fit on my Tailgater like it was made for it. It was literally install and done, worked like a nothing ever happened. Great product and priced very affordable.

My Harbor Freight 2 cycle generator pull started assembly broke after 5 years and I bought this assembly as a replacement. No instructions but pretty simple to install, take out the old 10mm bolts and use them to attatch the new assembly. Worked right away and now I have a working generator again at a great replacement part cost. The 2 day delivery of the part from Amazon was also great!
