buy a different brand! bought this starter a year ago. this past week it went out again. pieces of starter broke off ontop of transmission and i got lucky enough it didn’t damage the flywheel or anything else internally.

To repair my honda, I had to buy a $200 starter. I had to pay somebody to put it on to my car. I went without a car for over 2 weeks because it bent a bolt when it exploded and broke in twwo,put of it went in my transmission. And it's still supposed to be under a 2 year warrenty.cannot get hold of anyone.I only had it in there 1 year and have not been compensated 1 bit from my inconvenience. They gave me a web site cannot be found.This should not be sold

If installing in Honda CRV this is a pain due to the wiring harness placement. This is not the fault of the manufacturer. It matches OEM placement. Part is identical even a bit better than OEM on the electrical connector. Easier to get a socket around battery wire terminal. Due to larger opening on the terminal post. Only just barely installed so not sure about longevity. Will update if it has any issues. Seems to work flawlessly.
