This part is no different than replacement of your cars oil filter except not as frequent. My original was starting to get a little old. You can tell by the darkness of the mesh and darkening of the gray plastic. This was a very simple replacement. Remove lower rack unlock the metal screen and remove the original. Then remove round screen filter then release two tabs that secure the gray plastic to the metal bottom screen to dishwasher. Reverse the installation when assembling. This is a perfect fit to my BOSCH SHE68E15UC dishwasher. After replacing my stock, dishes seam to turn out better. At around 19 dollars a great replacement part for your dishwasher. Give your dishwasher new life.

Bosch dishwasher using eco soap ruin the filter but these replacement filters so easy. Just like changing the vacuum cleaner bag often on a Miele, it’s part of caring for the motor.
