My first impression of this blanket is that it seems pretty big for 3-6 months. It's also labelled as a Medium on the little external tag, which isn't quite as easy for me to sort. This is my first baby, so I could have the wrong impression about the size, but it's 22" long, for reference. It seems like there is plenty of room for the neck, arms, hips, and legs to move freely.This (mostly) cotton blanket is double layered which makes it nice and thick and heavyweight. The seams are a good quality and the fabric is cute! I'm peeved that it's labelled in the listing as 100% Cotton when the tag on the product says 95% cotton and 5% elastane.It zippers from both top and bottom for easier diaper changes. The zipper itself feels and sounds like a lower quality zipper and doesn't lay totally flat when zipped. It has flaps on the inside that are meant to provide a barrier between the skin and zipper, but they tend to fold back and don't provide that cushion.It will do the job, but might not be the best product on the market.
