This a pretty good device - it's very simple, and everything just worked straight away without any faffing about. Switches devices quickly. INteresting that's it's bi-directional, which is kinda cool, but I didn't try that as it's not really something I need. I can recommend it though if you need to connect multiple devices to a monitor and be able to switch them easily.

HDMI switchers are not new to the market but whenever you see one that just adds an unexpected twist you just have to mention it. The Picture quality is fantastic, and I find the build quality to be light but sturdy. If you are looking for a bidirectional HDMI switcher then this one will get the job done for most tasks. I rate this product at 4 stars. (Good Value Buy)

This Newcare bidirectional HDMI switch is solid feeling and was simple to install. One of my HDMI ports stopped working and I needed a solution and this provided an inexpensive quick fix. I needed to have 2 sources go into my only available HDMI port on my TV as I have my cable set top box as well as an XBOX going into that port. This switcher worked really well and allowed me to switch easily between one input and the other. Problem solved and I like the fact that this switch is bidirectional and I could easily use it to switch between 2 displays with a single imput. This switch came with a USB-C power cord which is unnecessary in my configuration but would be helpful for different devices that might need a powerd switcher down the road.

This item works Great! I am using it to connect a firestick 4k And an apple tv 4k streaming box into a 4k tv that is HDR capable... Connecting this is simple and you can even in Some instances do so without an external power supply needed..How is this possible? The hdmi cables you will attach to it are Carrying Already the 5volts needed to run the device..However, it is recommended to connect the supplied power cable to a simple 5v charging brick,like the kind used for a phone..This will ensure the device is able to operate without any glitches of picture dropouts...I tested both streamers, the firestick and the apple.you can switch between the 2 with a push of the button on the device..No issues streaming Dolby digital plus sound or 8 channel Lpcm as was the case with the apple tv...HDR is fully supported as is hdmi 2.0 spec and Hdcp2.2 is complient so no issues viewing movies in full 4k 60 hz with HDR and 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound...the device also supports YCbCr 4:4:4..Always check ur cables if there are Any sound or video issues... The box has the capabilities as tested..highly recommended item!

Picture A, is what you get out of the box. Picture B, is the top with one single button on top to switch in my case, from the laptop computer in my office and a video signal in my living room to a monitor in my office. Picture C, is both ends of the switching box the top part is the power though a USB cable and the input of a signal from my living room viva an HDMI cable. The bottom two HDMI ports by the use off the button allow me to see up to eight cameras on my added video monitor or to use it monitor as a extension for my laptop. Picture D, is where it is all plugged-in and is the second half of the working system, which has a splitter on the other end. Picture E, is my living room TV showing my front yard. Picture F, is the monitor in my office just a short ways from my living room.I am going to try and explain this, as I have been adding cameras around my house and my office is closed off and I do spend a lot of time in there so I wanted a way to see what is going on around my house, not just in my living room too. This little box takes a signal from a splitter in my living room and allows me to switch it back and forth to use between that signal and my laptop computer. It is fast enough to send the information for my eight cameras, so I can see everything around my house, while I am in an enclosed room or to use the monitor as a second video in my office, with the touch of a button.This little box, Plus another little box at the sending end, and all of the cables are fast enough to send the signals of my eight cameras continuously to the monitor without a slow down at all. What I see is what I get. I do know it is in black and white but it is was in the middle of the night and was in infra-red and still has a pretty good view at night too. But the color during the day is very sweet.So I do hope this helps if you are trying to set one of these up. As this is the easiest way I know to do this with one long cable, and two boxes, and two short cables working together, added to what I already had.

I have an old TV limited to one HDMI input, and this handy HDMI Switch ( see photo ) enables me to connect the HDMI cable from each of two different input devices, and merely press a button to seamlessly switch between them as signal inputs to the TV. I am very happy with the quality and performance of the Switch.The device features; supports HDMI 2.0 (add its features) for signals up to 4K @ 60 Hz and up to 3.4 Gbps of bandwidth; backwards compatibility with previous HDMI standards; ability to be used as 1 in - 2 out HDMI signal Splitter; and no external power connection is required.

This product was sent to me for review as part of the Amazon Vine program. The following reflects my real-world experience using it.In terms of build quality, it appears to have been well-made; the construction is robust, and has a sleek finish with properly-machined connection ports on all sides. The compact form factor makes it ideal for use in smaller spaces (this is useful for me as my setup is limited to a small shelf).I requested the item in order to be able to connect a Nintendo Switch and an Android TV box to my projector - it worked absolutely fine for this, and I experienced no issues with lag. The picture and audio quality were as good as they would have been usually.In summary, a good value item that has enabled me to make the most out of my entertainment setup.

Switches between two HDMI cables to another HDMI cable. Either works as two inputs or two outputs, with the switch causing the device to switch between the two so that you don’t have to physically unplug and plug back in.In use a small red LED indicates which of the two HDMI cables is selected. In addition there is a USB-C cable for providing additional power if required.The unit is rather compact, easy to use (plug-n-play) and the signal quality was certainly OK for my standard use.I plugged a BluRay player and an Amazon stick into it. The BluRay wanted to play even when the switch was not selected for it. I found that it needed the USB power to prevent that. Once the power was there it correctly paused when I switched away.

Picked this up to feed my Xbox and Nintendo into a single monitor. So far so good. This is well made and reasonably priced.
