these hyundai rear liftgate actuators seem to go bad after time. this one was alot cheaper than OEM replacment. after comparing this unit to the original one, there doesnt seem to be much of a difference between the two. This one worked perfect and restored the liftgate opening function

Great product. Fixed tail gate latch with perfect fit. Removed bad item and installed new one in a few minutes.

Came well packaged. Had determined there was a high chance the actuator motor in the original latch had died. When the trunk was opened (had to this from the inside using the manual opener in the trunk panel), pressing the button I could hear the motor straining.Ordered this replacement, removed the trunk panel (two screws and a bunch of plastic clips to unpop) and then removed the three bolts holding the original in place. Pulled the old unit thru and removed the plug. Put the new one in, plugged it in and tested and heard it pop nicely when hitting the button. Bolted back in place. Reinstalled panel and Robert’s your father’s brother! All fixed for a lot less than a trip to a mechanic.
