Exact replacement of what was in there. Wish my wife had remembered she had a special tool to remove and replace before I tore the whole machine apart getting to it. All is finally back together now and the light works again.

As you can see from the photos I've attached, these bulbs are not the same size as the original Bernina 1008 bulb. This product was advertised as fitting into a Bernina 1008 machine, which it does not. In the photos, the longer bulb with the smaller and shorter base is the original Bernina, and the other bulb is the one I ordered from this listing. I hope this review helps someone else avoid this falsely advertised product.
