Upon install the anti-siphon valve metal cap screwed on correctly but there was something about the O ring and the metal scre cap that when installed and tightened when I turned on water, water leaked though out the new metal cap. Like alot. I actually used another size Oring I purchased that reduced the leaking but no where near satisfied.

I bought this to repair the sillcock in front of my house, and I'm sure it would have worked, but the original sillcock was almost 20 years old, and when I tried to take it apart, there were pieces of nylon that seemed to be fused to the brass. The nylon broke apart and I never could get it to a place where I could use the repair kit - I ended up replacing the entire sillcock.

This was actually delivered quicker than it originally stated.. so points right off the bat. We had another of these that had cracked and we were using a screwdriver to turn water on/off. That piece was plastic. Light plastic, at that. When we got this part, seeing as they looked completely alike online and the other was so old and weathered we couldn’t get a part number and were judging by looks, I figured we would find the same.. but apparently it’s been upgraded. The new handle seems sturdy with a decent weight to it. I only took off a star bc there’s no option for just the damn handle, we didn’t need all the other parts and it seems like a waste.. but that’s just me.
