What is a Ball Joint?
- A ball joint is usually a ball-in socket design, lubricated with grease and covered with a dust boot
- Ball joints are the critical component of the suspension that connect various links and allow them to move
What do Ball Joints Consist of?
- Ball joints consist of a metal housing and stud
- The stud can swing and rotate within the housing
- The socket is filled with grease to provide lubrication, keep debris and water out of the socket, and maintain noise free operation
Symptoms of Worn Ball Joints
- Worn ball joints contribute to looseness in the suspension
- The driver may notice steering looseness, steering vibration, or unusual noises but it often causes other problems before it may be noticeable to the driver
- A worn ball joint is not a problem that should be ignored. If the wear becomes severe, the stud may separate from the housing resulting in immediate loss of control of your vehicle which puts you in great danger

Struggled a bit installing, extremely tight fight. Tried the heat and freeze method but just couldn't pull it off... Ended up sanding out the holes a bit to get them to go in with force. Once in though everything works just how it should.

Product worked great but was very tight to install. Had to emery cloth the socket out quite a bit and even then had to press them in.

The only thing was the ball joints were alittle too big and I had to sand out the hole it goes into, not too much that the ball joint would fall right in. You have to have some kind of tension or tightness to hold the ball joint in so be careful when installing these ball joints.Initially I tried to hammer them into place but the polaris knuckle is aluminum and started to shear away at the aluminum and create a round lump that I had to sand away anyways. So sand away some materials maybe necessary before installing the ball joint.Again trim away some material first and check as you go, help this makes sense and helps you out.

seem to fit and seem to be the right ones but one of the packages was already opened and missing the cotter pin so that scares me a little bit I don't like knowing that it's been opened and sent back
