What is a CV Boot?
- CV boots or drive axle boots are responsible for keeping the joints lubricated and preventing dirt and water from getting in
Why Replace?
- When left unattended, it’s only a matter of time before the joint fails from lack of lubrication or corrosion. When that happens, the whole axle may need to be replaced

I have a 2012 Rancher 420. The previous bike owner rode the bike with a busted CV boot for months before I bought the bike. After riding the bike myself in the first few days of ownership (hadn’t had time to order new parts yet), another CV boot busted. I ordered these and have been running strong for months now with no issues. These are direct fit, easy to replace, and a great price compared to OEM. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have a 2” Highlifter lift kit on my 420 (Durability is especially important when the lift kit puts extra strain on the axles) No issues with the axles so far!
