What is a CV Boot?
- CV boots or drive axle boots are responsible for keeping the joints lubricated and preventing dirt and water from getting in
Why Replace?
- When left unattended, it’s only a matter of time before the joint fails from lack of lubrication or corrosion. When that happens, the whole axle may need to be replaced

UPDATE: ONE OF THESE BOOTS DIDN'T EVEN LAST ONE YEAR!These boots have thinner material (rubber) than the OEM style boots. The clamps are different than OEM, the OEM clamps don't require any special tools. I had to buy the special tool to apply the clamps and, in my opinion, they aren't as good of quality. I don't think they clamp as tight as the OEM.Two boots are in this kit and only one pack of grease, so you have to guess at what half the grease is and there doesn't appear to be enough grease. I weighed the OEM grease pack for one boot, against this grease pack and this pack is light in weight. I will spend the extra money next time and buy the OEM boots, as I've done in the past.

I used the cv axle boots to rebuild the rear axles on a 2003 Honda rincon the were a perfect fit probably better material than OE and the kit came with everything needed for the rebuild 100% satisfied with the product

Niche is a great company. So far no issues. They have all the parts for my Arctic Cat 400 trv.
