Nickelodeon Men's SpongeBob and Patrick Fleece Sweatshirt - Novelty Crewneck Pullover Graphic Sweatshirt (Sizes: S-XL)

I wasn't expecting this sweatshirt to be so nice. The quality feels premium due to the fleece lining inside that keeps me warm. The sizing is accurate and it is very well made. The design and print is very clear with vibrant colors.

This sweater has a fantastic design.The material is soft and warm, the inside is fleece material.It fits as expected and held up great in the wash.If you are a SpongeBob fan, I would highly recommend this!

What's not to love about SpongeBob?He's always happy/cheerful, he's a very hard worker, he's a good pet dad and he is an amazing friend. With that, I had to have this sweatshirt with him and Gary against the backdrop of The Stary Night. Does it make sense?- Nope. Is it amazing?- Actually, it kind of is!Now...I love a good sweatshirt, but I am incredibly particular about what makes them 'good'. With no reviews and vague product info, I took a chance here and it totally paid off!This sweatshirt arrived super quick. Neatly folded, with tissue paper between the folds/graphic. This has a legit, branded Nickelodeon/SpongeBob tag attached and the sewn in tag is Nickelodeon brand as well. This is 100% legit merch.The material is a 60% cotton and 40% polyester blend. It is absolutely heavily. Super soft, great movement and nice and cozy. This does not have that cheep polyester sheen to it (the green color is pretty matte) or the cheep polyester grit feeling that I loathe. The cuffs, neck and waistband are smooth, stretchy cotton material too. The inside is a soft fleece that adds some nice warmpth. The fleece does get a bit knotty after a few washes, but not to the point it's uncomfortable. I would say this is a light-mid weight sweatshirt- not too thin, but not overly heavy/bulky either.Construction is basic, but well done. Stitching/surges, hems and material cuts are strong/studry, clean and even. There were a few pieces of thread floating around upon arrival, but nothing major.The graphic is my only complaint.It is crystal clear, with bright, vivid colors and the image is fantastic, but it is THICK! That thickness makes the sweatshirt a bit stiff (especially the mint- with the image covering the entire back). The edges are flush with the material and so far nothing has lifted or peeled, but I feel like it's a matter of time before the graphic (which is like a super nice quality, heat sealed vinyl) is going to start cracking. So this is not one that I will over-wear.I have worn/washed this a few times already (including right when it arrived, as I wash everything before I wear it). I turn inside out and wash on delicate/cold- I have thrown this in a garment bag and few times too. Tumble dry on delicate (super low heat) until it's about 60% dry then hang. The graphic is still in good shape and did soften up a bit too. I haven't had any shrinkage, but if this sees high heat, it will shrink up a bit.I'm 5'7", 127lbs. I ordered a large, as I always do in sweatshirts/hoodies as I like them oversized/relaxed/cozy, plus I like to have a bit of wiggle room if they do shrink. I probably would have been better off with a medium here because I can't dry it all the way and shrink it up. It's definitely men's sized and just a normal cut (not oversized).I really do love this sweatshirt. It is fun, cozy and different. I appreciate that it is legit and branded too. The price (under $25 at the time of this review) is actually a steal for this to be honest. I'm happy and get compliments whenever I wear this.

The fabric of this fleece sweatshirt is so soft and warm. It seems well-made and true to size. However, despite the word "novelty" being in the heading, I didn't think it would be that much of a corny novelty sweatshirt, but it is. If purchased for a man, I imagine they wouldn't want to wear it running errands, but it would be fine in doing projects around the house and trying to stay warm without driving our ever-increasing electric bills through the roof for winter. Please do double-check the images. I did that and went for the only one that looked the least corny to me, but it looked more novelty than I would have preferred. Better for a woman or girl.
