Bought for a halo 3" recessed can housing and it doesn't work . It's way to small . Not sure if it would work in any size recess can that I've ever installed.

Great solution for small spot. Easy to use, no other parts necessary. Beware, when you put it through the drywall and the spring loaded arms swing into place, its permanent. Best to do a trial install on a scrap piece of drywall first. Strongly suggest taping the arms together so they don't spring closed, put fixture in, then spin it around a few times so it rotates freely. Then when you untape the arms an install permanently it will rotate properly to aim spot.
