I purchased this filter to use it on a Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR zoom lens as it also allows for the attachment of the lens hood. There was one issue that I encountered when attempting to remove it during my first test, the threads became ceased and I had to use WD40 to remove it. I suggest applying a light machine oil to the threads first so that it can be removed easily, other than that it performs quite well.
