Took me a long time to settle on ordering the Nilfisk ALTO Aero 26-21 since there are few reviews. Many hours of checking out all the other "dust extractor" vacs in this class (Makita, Festool, etc). Just feels well made and well thought out. It has a very long hose and very long cord. I particularly enjoy the tool/vac syncronized on/off deal. Most good vacs now have this and it's a joy to use. The cloth bag seems to catch almost all of the very fine wood dust I generate before it gets to the HEPA filter - it's still pristine after 10 or 15 hours of use. After years of almost instant clogging of those pleated filters in typical "shop vacs", it's nice!The rubber hose end fits quite a few of my sanders, routers and other portable tools. YouTube has some interesting videos on using PVC pipe to adapt all those older tools that simply don't fit anything. Apparently Nilfisk (Dutch company I believe) makes some of the better known dust extractors. And they make a bunch of industrial vacs.I'm happy!

Hose is a little narrow and the crevice tool will choke on a cig but. That said it's got power and I'm currently trying to remove mold spores that give me physical wounds, I a few times stood in outlet air flow while vacuming, not the slightest hint of an issue.For the price a cord rewind would be awesome but probably end up dragging stuff u wanted to vacuum and be rid of inside the mech.

Vac is very light and powerful reasonably quiet with minimum to no dust for exhaust. This little Vac would be 5 stars if it had a larger I.D. hose, during pick of remodel debris needed to stop numerous times to un clog hose. Our old Wap had a larger hose and was much less prone to clogging.

Very happy with this hepa vac and its attachments! Quieter then most vacs too which is a big plus with plenty of suction power (I use it for drywall dust). Only thing I'd say could be better Is how the hose and cord are stored but I remedied that pretty easily with some Velcro straps 👍

Awesome. If you're like me, and not willing to shell out $500+ on a Festool shopvac, but still want all the goods, then this is your new best friend. The Nilfisk works like a charm with my Makita track saw, jigsaw, drywall tool and Bosch rotary sander. Power to spare with the included tool outlet. Includes accessories, but not a tool adapter (the one omission on the part of Nilfisk - if you're going to offer a tool outlet on the vacuum, then include the bloody adapter!). Mine has the HEPA filter and it works very well.I've used it in both dry and wet settings, and it performs like a champ. The hose storage sucks, but that can be remedied with a little ingenuity. A bit of a sleeper, this one. Highly recommended.
