When serious vehicle emergency lighting is a requirement, these lights deliver. With a multitude of flashing modes and bright enough for use during the day, they are readily visible.Construction:Weighing around 10.5 ounces with the brackets and suction cups attached, the light assembly features a durable aluminum housing. The four lens covers (2 on each side) feel sturdy and have a design that maximizes light dispersion. The aluminum brackets attach to the light frame with two screws on each side. The power cord seems stout enough to withstand tucking it inside the headliner trim if necessary. The cord between the lights connects with a 3-pin connector, so decoupling the lights is easy to do if required for storage.Usage:I used the supplied suction cups to mount the lights on the rear window of my vehicle. The cups are pliable which facilitates secure adhesion to the glass surface. I do not intend to permanently mount the lights on the rear window, so the cups are a good option for me. For permanent mounting, it might be wise to use the provided double-sided tape. My main concern with the suction cups would be constantly subjecting them to the sun or extreme cold which might affect adhesion and possibly cause the material to degrade.Since my vehicle has a 12-volt connection in the rear cargo area, I did not run the power cord in the headliner trim. After mounting the lights, I switched them on and cycled through the different flash patterns. Cycling through the 30 patterns can be time consuming so the “last memory recall function” is a welcomed extra. It is worth noting that the controls for both power and changing flash patterns are located on the 12-volt plug. The flash control is a spring-return (momentary) rocker switch that simplifies changing patterns.Summary:These emergency vehicle lights feature sturdy construction, great features, and solid performance. I like the red-blue combination of lights which seems appropriate for emergency situations and certainly attracts attention. The number of flash combinations is a bit overwhelming, but the variety of patterns should be suitable for most circumstances.Permanently or temporarily mounting the lights is a matter of personal choice, so having the ability to use adhesive tape or suction cups is a solution that makes sense. When I tested the suction cups, they held the lights firmly in place, but it was only for a brief period. The brackets do allow different mounting angles, but either one or both screws must be removed and perhaps the bracket repositioned to do so.Overall, I think these lights are a good addition to an emergency road kit. They function well and are an affordable option for vehicle emergency lighting.

This is a solid set of flashers. Straight and to the point. Bright enough to stand on the own but versatile enough to be joined up with others. The build quality more than met my expectations. I'm confident these are going to last me a long while. 30 different patterns is a bit excessive, but hey... the more; the merrier. The same could be said with the suction cups. Each unit takes 4 and then supply you with 10. So... two extra? Sure, why not?Additionally, I'm not sure it was necessary to have 4 strong suction cups per unit considering that they are pretty lightweight. But again... the more; the merrier. But I'm not complaining about any of this excess. I welcome it whole-heartedly.When coupled with their metal brackets, you're given the ability to adjust their aim. I REALLY liked this aspect. With this, you can position them where you want and then aim them courteously AWAY from direct eye-line. Thusly, not inconsiderately blinding people (looking at you, Law Enforcement ≖_≖). Especially while on the road. As a part-time Security Guard, this is something I'm always taking into consideration.Functionality is simple and as you would expect. One button for power and the other to change flash patterns. And fear not, it DOES have memory retention so you don't have to keep searching for your last used pattern. The price is more than reasonable for what all you're getting.NOTE: I have heard rumors that this particular color combination is not "legal" in certain areas. I advise you to check local laws before moving forward with a purchase. However, it's universally legal that you CAN have whatever color you want so long as you're on private property. In other words, do NOT drive with them turned on while on public roads if they are not allowed in your area.

Alright, so this little beacon of hope (or warning, depending on the situation!) definitely does what it's supposed to do. When you need to light up an area and make your presence known, especially during those roadside recovery moments, it certainly throws out enough light to get attention. Brightness? Check. My only real niggle, and the reason it's not getting that fifth shiny star, is the lack of a dedicated cover or shroud to direct all that glorious light forward. Without it, you get a fair bit of light spillage out the sides, which can create a bit of an internal light show against your windshield. Not ideal when you're trying to see what's happening outside during a recovery, you know? It can be a tad distracting and make peering through the glass a bit more challenging than it needs to be. I've used a few similar units that come with a little something to keep the light focused, and it makes a difference. That said, for its main gig – being a bright, attention-grabbing light to keep other vehicles at a respectful distance during recoveries – it's going to do the job. It's certainly bright enough to make folks think twice before getting too close, which is exactly what you need. Hopefully, it'll help keep the work area clear of any curious or oblivious traffic. So, four stars from me. It works, it's bright, and it'll help keep your recovery zone clear. Just be prepared for a little extra light inside your cab unless you get crafty with some DIY shading. A small tweak in design for better light direction, and this would be a perfect score!
