Information on Condensation
Common Causes of Condensation
- Large changes in daily temperature.
- Leaking seals on bulbs and/or bulb sockets.
- Fog light turned on and the bulbs heats up inside the housing,the hot air will turn into moisture.
Coagulation is normal
Condensation does not indicate a defect When condensation occurs within the lamp, this is normal. Condensation is caused by temperature differences, areas of low pressure that absorb moisture in winter, and other climate changes. It does not affect the optical function of the lamp.
Ways to solve condensation
- Check that all vents are free from blockages. Turn on the lights for 20mins to raise the fog light temperature and evaporate condensation.
- Remove bulbs to allow moisture to evaporate form inside the housing. Heat with a hairdryer to speed up the process.
- Leaking seals on bulbs sockets. Put moisture absorbing silica-gel desiccant packet inside the fog light.

I installed these foglights on my car looks great and really helps with the night driving but 3 days later I wake up to water on my passenger side fog light . Amazon is replacing the set for a new pair (same ones) and when I install them hopefully this doesn't keep happening.UPDATE.. Installed the new pair and it's been over a week and there great !!!

This kit is advertised as plug and play - which it is IF your vehicle is pre wired for fog lights. My 04 Nissan Frontier has fog light mounts but no wiring harness. These lights were a direct fit in the bumper and I wired in a relay and in cab switch and they work great.The light unit is well constructed and has an adjustment screw for aligning the light beam.There is no hardware included for securing the lights to the OEM mounting bracket or instructions (minus 1 star). I used two sheet metal screws and washers to anchor the light housing to the back of the bracket to keep it securely in place.

These are decent replacement lamps, but not the greatest. Those glass lenses are plastic on my set, and attached rather haphazardly as well. They do work, as long as you replace those broken "free" bulbs they like to include. Wiring harness is complete, and nice addition to the set. Most sets do not come with complete wiring harness, so a bonus star for this fact.All said, they work well, with compete harness for wiring. I doubt they will stand the test of weather for very long here, as the cheap plastic lenses are bound to fail.
