This will charge RE and other Motorola radios. However the socket allows the radio to tilt away from the contacts and stops charging. A tiny bit of folded paper or thin cardboard as a shim is a workaround.

Full disclosure- these Motorola chargers come in all shapes and sizes and I ordered this and it didn’t fit the batteries I was trying to charge.But with a couple of modifications, I was able to charge one battery. It went from a long stay at red light to off (no green), but that may be because I was using a different battery than it’s made for.Good luck deciphering which charger you need.Price when reviewed: $32.99
