So cute. Compact. Versatile for both grinds and pods. Largest water reservoir I've ever been able to find and ergonomics are great for lifting the reservoir by hand.

I've had this coffee maker for over a year, I use it a few times a week and love it. I personally only use it with ground coffee in the reusable filter... After getting used to that, when I tried a few different pods, they were just awful in comparison. The machine works perfectly with pods, but putting your own ground coffee in the reusable filter is definitely the best way to use the machine. It is very convenient that it has the 2 separate modules, one for pods one for ground, and I especially like that there is a storage spot built into the machine, there's also a spot for the coffee scooper, and the frother swings out of your way. It also has a very convenient clean cycle. I was first a little confused at why the clean cycle uses something like 70 ounces of water I believe, since I didn't have any container that would fit under the maker to catch that much water... But I quickly realized that all I have to do is remove the cup base/drip catcher and slide the machine to edge of my sink. My machine is less than 2 feet away from the sink, so it's very easy (though I'm last and don't run it much, haven't had any issues anyway). I haven't looked at another maker since getting this one, and I've recommended it to many friends and family. Once in a while I feel lazy and wish I could use disposable filters so I can skip cleaning the filter between uses (TBH I probably could easily throw one into the reusable filter, I just haven't tried finding a small size). But it's actually pretty damn easy to clean the filter... I tap out against the inside of my garbage bin to get rid of the bulk, then just rinse the rest out in the sink... Takes about a minute, maybe less. That's about all I can say, so far it's been the perfect maker for me, it is exactly what I was looking to get. I promise that if you get some good coffee (not any funky caramel or vanilla), and ideally grind it yourself, I normally fill the reusable pod about halfway for an 18 oz and I tend to run it on rich mode... You'll never want to use a pod ever again... But even if you did, this machine can be used with most standard pods, but it's just so much better using the resistance filter (which btw is much larger than a pod... So it's much better than using a reusable standard sized pod that lesser machines may use.)

Update!I've been trying to find a coffee maker that could make coffee from fresh grounds, use k-cups (reusable) pods, and not take up a lot of counter space. Most recently I tried a new Cuisinart single cup coffee maker with a build in grinder, but the grind wasn't adjustable and it wasn't the right grind for my coffee taste. And it dumped a small amount of grounds each time you used it. (Cuisinarts are always messy, I have found, so I was disappointed but not surprised.)Then I discovered this. You can put grounds in a little gold filter basket or put in a k-cup. They use different inserts, but there's a space in the side to put the one you're not using. You choose from 4 modes which make different versions of coffee - regular, rich, over ice and "specialty." Then you choose the size you want from 6 oz to 24oz, push the button and wait. Now, because you are making drop coffee with the basket it takes a minute or 2, but the coffee was fantastic. I use the k-cup for decaf at night, and it works fine. The ice coffee option works great on both grounds and k-cup. Haven't tried "specialty" yet because tbh I don't know it's supposed to do. There's a milk frother which I also haven't/won't be using, but it sounds simple enough and easy to clean. I'm back to using a separate grinder, but since this brewer is really quite small it's ok.Found! I found some paper filters that fit perfectly, so now clean up is as simple as lifting out the paper and dropping it with the grounds in my organics bin. I don't notice any taste difference from using the gold filter alone. Yay!(The only downside I see, which is enough to make this 4* because it's going to be a problem, is that the gold-filter basket has a flip up lid with the holes to disperse the water, and I know it's going to break at some point because it's just plastic. I looked on the Ninja site for a replacement basket and it's $17.99 plus $10 shipping.)

I love the slim design of this coffee maker. I wanted something that would accommodate K-cups. I found them messy with the plastic cups but the ones that are mesh brew better than the name brand coffee maker. The coffee comes out rich and delicious, not watery. It's adjustable and provides a variety of coffee functions. It also sits better on the counter due to the slim rather than wide design.

The coffee machine is very good but beware in Britain the voltage for the machine is 120 volts and in Britain we are 240 volt. To return the machine is very costly, the cost of sending mine back was around £60. Amazon don't want to know about returning the machine, they just send you a label to print off and that's it. I can't understand why Amazon sell items on the market place that don't comply with British voltage.
