  • We had a problem with one batch of games. The problems are fixed but it’s taking a long time for the review score to reflect the improvements.

  • Nope! We like to say, “No saber pain!” The weapon of light is made from soft foam (like a pool noodle only softer). Just be sure to grip the item at its base and never hit someone on the head.

  • Players use the trust method to track hits. Good sportsmanship is part of the game!

  • This game set is designed for 2-4 players whereas Glow Battle Family is for 2-8 players and contains many game components.

  • The foam used for the swords is optimized for durability, thickness & density: strong enough to be used repeatedly but soft enough to ensure players don't get hurt. The LEDs are super bright with 12+ hrs of certified use.

Great idea done badly. The plastic will rip off in a month and you'll be left holding a white piece of styrofoam that barely glows.

Kids were so excited about this item they started playing immediately only to find one didn’t work. I contacted seller and without question they sent a complete New set! Bonus they said to keep the original pkg.

The first thing that I love about this game is that it came with all the required batteries so I wasn't having to dig around to get my kids started!! This is a fun game that is sort of like tag but with foam Glow Katanas. These are foam sticks that you hit each other with that don't hurt at all. You run around and try to tag the other team with your Katana without getting hit. If you get hit you have to go back to your home base and change your Katana to flashing mode. If you get hit again while your Katana is flashing then you are completely out. This game provided some fun activity for my kids and kept them and their friends entertained and running around for a while! Anything that gets them up and off the couch during the summer makes me happy. Glow Battle is absolutely something that we will revisit and continue to play!

Very cheaply made. Pretty much what other reviewers said. One didn’t light up, one went off when hit, one died after a couple minutes before of play. Yes, the company sent replacements, but they had the same problems. There’s no quality control on these things. I believe the batteries aren’t secured enough in the compartment and hitting them on anything causes the battery to shift out of place. But… they are swords… so that’s a problem. Also, the plastic covering covers the battery compartment, so you have to tear it a bit to even get to the battery. The good reviews must be from the previous version of this product because this new version was so disappointing. The Starlux games look so cool, but if they are all made like this, they aren’t worth more than $10. Just buy your kids some pool noodles and tape glow sticks to them, and they’ll have more durable light up swords than this. Definitely a let down.

Bought these as birthday present for our 7 year old. They are 4 tiny foam noodles. and 4 tiny lights that dont match the pictures in the ad. you have to make up your own game. the swords dont know when they are hit. One sword would randomly turn off whenever it was hit. So you had to "Improvise" again, and try to remedy the situation. Very cheaply made. Disappointed. Used once, and been in the box since.9/5/21 UPDATE! The customer service is outstanding. They responded to my review and wanted to make it right! They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and that the product was working as advertised. Mary, their rep, reached out to ensure that replacements were delivered and even sent a new product to try to ensure that we were happy customers. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for someone who stands behind their product. 5 STARS! (I am not paid by this company and not asked to write a review or update).

This was so.much.fun! When I heard about these Glow Games, I thought they sounded like pure genius and couldn’t wait to order one. Our Glow Battle came quickly and very well packaged. My kids and I were anxious to open it up and test it out. Inside were all the pieces we needed for an evening of truly epic good times. Included in the box was a stack of different cards with instructions for a variety of Glow Battle Games using the game pieces (light stations, bracelets, and sabers) ranging from 2-20 players and game times lasting 5-60 minutes.Word got around that we were having night games at our house and we ended up having 12 kids total coming over to test them out, ranging from 10-15 years of age. These kids had such a great time! They could have played for hours. I don’t know which was my favorite part—their happy voices, knowing they were getting in some fresh air and exercise, or the fact that they were having such a great time without playing any video games! On top of that, it will make the perfect Christmas gift for our extended family. The level of awesomeness for our future family get-togethers is going to be raised exponentially!*I included some pictures of a few of the game pieces and cards—as well as a picture of a battle in session. Get it!
