I set it up when I got it in the bed of my 23 raptor. It didn’t set up as easily as shown, but it’s still really easy. I was able to set mine up on an extremely windy day, which is about as difficult as it gets. I just had to inflate it a little then hook and strap it down then inflate some more. It took me maybe 10-15 minutes total, but again this is the wind whipping and fighting me the whole time. It held of the rain and dew in Washington just fine completely dry inside. And I have a bed reinforcement bar in my raptor. There is enough slack in the tent for it to drape over the bed reinforcement only shifting the inflation tubes a bit which is a plus. Deflation and getting it put away is a bit more difficult as the air gets a bit stuck in the tubes. Overall though I enjoy this tent way more than my previous pole tents. The inside is thoughtfully designed and very roomy. The only thing I’m concerned about is long term use how well will it hold up to multiple set up and break down cycles before. Only time will tell though. I recommend it!

I recently got the Niphean inflatable truck bed camper for some weekend camping trips. Setup was surprisingly quick with the included air pump as it took under 10 minutes. It’s spacious enough for two people, and the taller height gives it a more open feel than other truck tents I’ve tried. The material feels durable and handled wind and light rain without any issues. Overall, I would highly recommend this truck camper to anyone. A solid five stars from me.

To cut to the chase, this truck bed tent is excellent! The material is a nice, strong nylon with the inflatable tubes made of what I believe is pvc (like what heavy duty inflatables like rafts are made of).SETUP:Probably the hardest part of the setup is finding the opening so you can have it the right direction in your truck (or on the ground if you like). Just spread it out a bit andhook up the included hand pump. The pump is the kind used for stand-up paddle boards; it gives high volume of air with each stroke, and there is a pressure gauge so you know when to stop inflating (see the instructions). It basically stands up and gets into shape by itself. There are plenty of straps and hooks to connect it to your truck on all four sides of the tent, and there are attached nylon tie-downs if you're in an extra windy area and need to stake it down (stakes included). Once up, even without hooking it down, it's very sturdy. You should be able to have the whole thing set up in less than 10 minutes.FEATURES:The tent is shaped to go around the wheel wells in your truck bed. There are flaps on all 4 sides to go over the edges of the bed to keep rain or dirt from working its way into the bed or under the tent. The door is very large for easy entry, and has the option to close the flap for privacy or use a screen. The clearance inside the tent near the entrance is about 6 feet high. There are 2 side windows and a "sunroof" window, all of which can use privacy closures or screens. All zippered openings have double zippers that are double sided, so you can open from the inside or outside, and you can have them partially open into any position. There are storage pockets on each side of the interior, and there are a handful of rings up above so you can things inside. There are also 2 "sleeves" so you can feed an extension cord (or whatever) inside the tent, and you can cinch them closed to keep out rain, wind, dirt, and bugs. You can fit an inflatable truck bed mattress inside the tent (see my pictures).TAKING DOWN:After you take everything out and untie/ unhook all the straps, just open the inflation valve cover and press the spring-loaded center pin all the way until it locks in place. The tent almost instantly deflates. Then just fold and roll it up to get the rest of the air out. When it's all flat, just push and turn that same center pin so it pops back out and is ready for your next use. Ties are included to help keep the tent rolled up so you can put it in the included carrying bag easier. The bag also has buckles on it to cinch it up after you zip it closed, and gives more strength to the handles.Overall, this is a FANTASTIC truck bed tent. And if you have a mattress for your truck bed, it will be even better.

I've used a few truck bed tents in the past, but this is my first inflatable model, and I have to tell you I'm sold on it. It makes for a really nice frame that you don't have to fiddle with poles to make stand up. Threading poles through sleeves has never been my favorite part of tent setup anyway, and this just makes the whole process quick and painless. It claims 2 minute setup, but I have to say that's not really accurate...2 minutes to inflate, maybe. Getting the whole thing put on the back of the truck and strapped down took somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes though. In all, though, you can be ready to go in less than 15 minutes, which is pretty impressive. It comes with a manual inflator, but the way it's set up, if you have an electric inflator, that would probably work as well. The floor isn't inflatable, in case you're wondering, you'll still need a cot or camping pad or something to make the bed of the truck comfortable to lay on.The overall build of the tent is, well, very tent-like. Which is to say pretty decent, the zippers all seem to work pretty well, and though I haven't yet tried it in the rain (I'm not a rainy camping fan anyway), it claims to be waterproof, and from what I can tell initially, I have no reason to doubt this. Though, like any tent, I'm sure a coating of waterproofing silicone spray wouldn't hurt anything if you have some lying around. You can also set it up on the ground, which is nice if you want to keep your truck free for trips to the store or something, because you definitely don't want to drive with this set up on the back of your truck, lol. It also has some features that are kind of "above and beyond", like the ability to hook up an external AC unit (which I don't have), and you can also run extension cords through it for power if need be. It has some hooks on the inside for hanging lights and whatnot as well, and in addition to that it has some of those "window pockets" hanging beneath the windows for cell phones, keys, etc.Size wise, it should be pretty comfortable for 2 people, anything more might be pushing it, I think. For one person, it'll definitely give you lots of room for gear. It's not the cheapest bed tend I've seen or used, but I think it has to be one of the best. It's so easy to set up and use, it makes you want to get out and camp more. It even looks pretty cool. I'm definitely a fan of this and am looking forward to using it this summer. 5 stars.
