Products not worth the money it’s so cheaply built the pin on the pivoting rod broke off had to buy bolts to make it work. It’s such a flimsy units not worth $80. I wouldn’t even give 25 for it.

We got this to hold our dinghy outboard motor for when we occasionally service it. Our outboard is a 2.5hp so we don’t have any worries. Looking at it I think you would be able to put an 8 hp on it, not sure about anything bigger. If you buy something for double the price then it will be nicer with some features but for an occasional non pro situation this stand should do the trick. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions are not very detailed and they stop before telling you how to join the 2 parts together. Why ???

Was cheap crap , looks like it had been returned and then sent to me, no directions in the box.
