With a bit of prep to remove the old bolts to the stock mount, this was a great bolt in replacement. It fit well in a 2000 TJ with new Rough Country N3 shocks. I experience no clearance issues and they fit the energy bushings well.

They replace the weak dog bone on top of the rear shocks and installation is simple and straightforward, I do think they could be made out of heavier steel though

Review for installing onto a 1998 Jeep TJ. This product fits but not perfectly. Install took longer than what I expected. The jeep-to-bracket bolt heads and the shock bolt head and nut contact each other but i was able to fasten all securely. You wont be able to use a socket, so guess the torque. My biggest negative was the fact that the metal lip that holds my shock dust boot contacts the bracket. I would feel bad about this purchase had it not been for the low price and that the other options available on Amazon look identical. Metal and welds look good though but i havent ran it long enough to know for sure.

Great design simple affective and easy to install on my JK Wrangler. The metal could be a bit thicker but is adequate. Most with a bit of mechanical understanding should have no issues with the installation. Product worked well after installation.Bill G

Great value, fits great. Added photos to show how to install. After getting your shocks off, put your bushing into the shock eye. Put the new metal sleeve into the shock bushing. Put the new bracket over the shock bushing eye. Slide the bolt into it. Hold the assembly in place with bolt head towards the inboard side of the Jeep where it can slide around more. Slide it all the way in and thread in the the mount bolt but don't tighten it. Now, slide the shock eye bolt back and move the bracket outboard and thread the the other bolt in and tighten both the mount bolts down (18mm). Now you can install the nylon lock nut and hold it with a 19mm wrench and tighten the bolt with a 19mm socket.

After finding my rear Jeep shock sitting on the exhaust pipe for the 2nd time due to the cheap hollowed out "bowtie" mount from the cheapo Red & White shocks who shall not be named (rhymes with Sky Cracker).... I needed another solution that didn't involve replacing perfectly fine shocks.I found these and couldn't be happier! I expect the stout frame to last through all my shock replacements and will definitely stand up to the extreme twists & stresses from gravel roads to heavy rock crawling. The bolt shaft may not be Grade 8 (I believe its Grade 5), but is immeasurably stronger than the thin walled hollow tube braces you'll find even from the factory. The Nut is a Nylon locker and you can rest assured it won't be working itself loose even without thread locking compounds.Lastly, the kit comes with a steel bushing sleeve that was a perfect fit over the bolt and through the shock bushing. I used a small bit of lubricant to ease the assembly and it was the perfect amount of "snugness".Don't wait for your bowtie shock mounts to fail, if you have them; get this kit NOW.

I recently replaced my shocks and I struggled to get the shock pin into the bushing. I finally got it "good enough" and installed the rear shocks. After a few weeks I noticed a violent bounce in the rear end of my 2008 JKU and sure enough the shock had slid out of the bushing. Then I began to look for solutions and then I found these beautiful pieces! It took me about 40 mins from start to finish to install each side (the longest part was getting the pin out of the bushing and THROWING IT IN THE TRASH). My only suggestion is install the mount to your Jeep before you attach the shock because there isn't much room. I have had these installed a solid couple weeks now and it is so smooth - no more rear bounce! THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS PART!
