I bought this to stream directly from my PS5! The build quality is amazing and capture/pass through video quality worked just as advertised! The only reason why I am giving this a 3/5 stars is because the audio capture is terrible... it could be just me but I tried several different wires to see if I could isolate the issue to no avail. It would capture my discord party audio no problem but when it came to gameplay (Marvel Rivals) it would only capture certain in-game voice lines and nothing else. I also tried several OBS settings and nothing worked. PLEASE HELP!

I couldn't get it to work at first, but I figured it out after about 2 hours. 12/4/2024.

I'm very new to video capture but have been wanting to get started so I picked this up. Knowing virtually nothing about these devices, I spent a couple of minutes figuring things out but then I was capturing a video with OBS.The quality of the recording was quite good and the latency minimal. The device didn't get too hot and I was quite happy with the performance of the box, along with how well it interfaced with my computer. I haven't attempted to capture from my Xbox but plan on attempting that soon.

I've been using the Elgato 4k X for a while and was impressed while testing the Narvitech side by side against it. The Narvitech had comparible performance and image quality. Really the only difference I noted with testing was the Narvitech had a slightly longer delay that was easy to compensate for in OBS. It was close to 150ms~200ms compared to sub 50ms for the El Gato. I tried it on multiple computers to the same result. The install of the Narvitech was pretty much fool proof. It automatically detected on a Windows 11 pc and had no issues running (Pc Specs were Ryzen 7950x/RTX4090 Desktop and Ryzen 7840hs/RTX 4060 laptop). Both machines had no issues with the install, and was able to record full 4k footage straight from a PS5, and a 4k video camera (ZV-E10ii).While doing long captures the card only got warm and never uncomfortable to the touch. While I will still continue to use the Elgato as the main capture card because of the sync, I found myself very impressed by the Narvitech and look forward to somehow integrating it into the video capture system.
