This is a great indoor practice basketball and my 12yo is having a great time with it, and no longer annoying his big sister. It’s very good quality dense foam and seems very durable for indoor play. He had previously been practicing his dribbling in the basement with a new Spalding standard size 7 basketball, and it was noisy. This Bihevn silent ball is a big improvement. While not actually completely silent, the minor dull thud that it makes is extremely quiet. When he is bouncing it in the basement I can’t hear it upstairs. It’s very bouncy and fun, he can spin and bounce and practice everything he wants with it, although in truth it does take just a bit more force compared to the standard ball to get the same bounce. The ball was vacuum packed flat and it needed a whole day to expand. The hoop is kind of flimsy like a dollar store item, but he was still happy with it and it’s got play value and it doesn’t really need to be that great to use with a foam ball.I actually measured the spl of the two different balls using my Apple Watch noise app, dribbling both balls on our concrete basement floor. The standard ball was about 78db, vs. the Bihevn silent ball was only in the mid to high 40’s. To illustrate the difference, high 70’s is loud like a truck driving past you, high 40’s is faint like the sound of a refrigerator running.

This is a great basketball kit. The foam ball was worrying at first because it was askew due to the vacuum seal but by the next day the ball was perfectly round so definitely give it some time. Hanging the basket wasn’t really an issue but I do not know if I want to put adhesive on my wall with this just yet. I know adhesive is tough to remove once it is placed and stuck for a long time. I like the ball though. It bounces just right and I can dribble it nicely.

The product serves its purpose. We put it on the wall of the living room. Kids love it. The only thing is that the rim is bent when I open the box.

My kids have recently got into dribbling and shooting basketballs - this indoor set has provided them lots of entertainment (and movement) in the house. We have it in my son's bedroom and everyone's been having a blast bouncing the "silent" (it makes a noise but isn't loud) basketball and shooting hoops. The hoop itself has stayed secure on the wall so far. Would purchase again!

Silent Basketball- This summary boasts that the basketball is silent, but I have worked at a single-gender, all-boys school for ten years, and there is no way a basketball is silent. I cannot wait for this to come in. I am so interested. This tracks. I got the basketball and I did not hear when the boys were playing with it. The adhesive given is probably fine if you do not work at an all-boys school where every student tries to dunk therefore putting immense pressure on the rim. I just used some concrete, and it has held better. *fingers crossed*

My 8yo son lately got into basketball and he practices a lot in our yard. I got him a real basketball and that is at times a bit loud when I am working from home as my home office faces our yard. So I thought this would be a quiet alternative. Oh boy…on arrival, the "ball"'s shape remote resembled a sphere. When trying to dribble it, it is not remotely - let me repeat this - not remotely bouncing like a basketball. It sure will be much quieter than a real basketball, but it is useless because it is something different entirely. In order for it to bounce similarly high, you would have to dribble about 2x as hard as a regular ball. The hoop itself also vaguely resembled a circular hoop. More like an oval. Now that I looked at other reviews' pictures, I realize that they showed a lot of crinkles on the "ball's" surface. Ours had those too and they remained hours after unpacking. The "hoop" might be "coercible" to take a somewhat circular shape, but I don't even feel like hanging it anywhere. No idea who gives this subpar item a 5-star review, but I won't even let my kids play with it to not distract them from the real deal. Nice idea - terrible execution… don't waste your money.BTW - it came in a cardboard box. So it didn't have to get squished into different shapes.

This silent basketball hoop set is such a fantastic find! We’ve been looking for a way to keep the kids active indoors without disturbing the neighbors, and this set is the perfect solution. The hoop is sturdy and easy to mount, and the best part is the foam ball—it doesn’t make any noise when it bounces or hits the hoop, so it’s perfect for indoor play!My kids love playing with it, and it’s also a great way for us to have some parent-child bonding time. The hoop is just the right size for both younger kids and adults, so we can all take turns trying to make shots. It’s really fun, and the zero-noise feature makes it a great option for apartment living or quieter environments.Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and interactive activity that doesn’t create a ton of noise!
