The ease of no solder makes the bulk of the connector tolerable. I used this to build a Miracle Piano adapter for NES. Nice to have the strain relief options. Works great!

The plastic shell is so flimsy. When I tightenes the screws, the two halves bend out of alignment. Also the plastic thumbscrew heads stripped while tightening. And the clamp for the cable is plastic, not metal as shown in their photo. My 37 conductor cable couldn't even fit inside the clamp.

I bought these wire up some radio remote control for our transmitters. Very easy to wire up the numbering system is very easy. It gives you a chance to ground to shield as well. I like the casing on the outside and the way it holds the cable into the casing. The screws are pretty sturdy.
