This aluminum "no soliciting" sign works exactly as it should and it looks good. Super easy to put together without any tools. Even so, there's 2 reasons why I took off 1 star. First, although technically it is adjustable height, it's a little misleading because you only have two sizes you can choose from - connect both poles together for full length or just use one pole for half the length.The second reason is some of the pictures show the sign being gigantic - almost as tall as the person in the picture. That could be misleading to some people. They should be a little more accurate with their pictures.

One downside to a cozy neighborhood with cute little houses all in a row... solicitors love them. This sign's messaging is ordinarily not my style, but ya know... I'll never be so bored that I want to talk to a stranger with an agenda, while standing in a doorway, about whatever it is they do for work. I didn't want this message where I'd have to look at it all the time, so... yard sign it is. The message is straightforward, but a hint more polite, and the sign is nicer looking than most. It's weatherproof, and the fiberglass stake is well made. I grabbed a small hammer and pounded the pointy stake into the ground (it was over halfway in before it was solid enough), and then assembled the rest on top of it, which only took a minute. It's large enough to be clearly visible from the path, without overpowering the flora. In my city it's illegal to ignore a no soliciting sign, so I expect it will be very effective - and any trespassers will not be overly surprised when we don't answer the door. Strange as it seems, I feel less harassed already :D

This is just the perfect size for a flower bed and stops people from knocking on the door.

The sign is MUCH bigger than I was expecting. Comically so. They can’t say they didn’t see it. Lol. The sign and stake are made well. Both are heavy duty and durable. The stake is really durable and grips the sign well. I love it other than being big as all get out. It screams the message, I was looking for more of a whisper. Lol. Don’t let that deter you from ordering it. I’m really impressed with the quality.

I live in a neighborhood that is permanently infested by solicitors. I have the standard sign on my front door, but they ignore it or don't see it quite a bit.I think part of the problem might be that, I have a kind of long sidewalk leading to the front door (see picture), and once they schlep over there they don't care and ring the bell. So I am adding this piece of art to the beginning of the walkway. Maybe they will get the hint and not want to continue the journey.This sign is sturdy, made with quality materials and includes reflective paint. It is hard to miss. It feels like this one is going to last a good long time. Recommended.

Just what we needed to keep all the solicitors at bay (or at least try to). The gold really helps the wording pop out, and the white writing actually has some nice reflective properties in there (think like a stop sign). That part was a welcome bonus. I will update if this doesn't hold up, but it feels like it should last years without issue, and the coating seems like it would sustain mild elements (e.g., Southern Cal) just fine. There were no instructions included for assembly, but is pretty simple to figure out. Dimensions accurate to listing description, and perfect for our purposes!

This sign is an excellent value compared to some flimsy ones carried in some big box stores. I live in a very walkable suburban urban area where certain times of the year multiple salespeople or religious groups may stop 3 times in a day. I placed it close to our front door behind a shrub but still legible as approaching the doorbell. The steak is in 2 parts to choose a lower to the ground or higher at about 36 inches. No instructions with a moist wipe but it seems self explanatory. The stake is a strong heavy coated metal and the plastic like connectors look like a sturdy all weather materials. The actual sign is metal with clean crisp text. This sign could also look very professional in front of a business or rental property.
