I wanted to like this toy, because it really is absolutely adorable, and I really love the company, but it leaves a lot to be desired and I couldn't justify keeping it based on the price and the shortcomings. One annoyance I had was, it’s bigger than I expected (probably around the size of a small beach ball), which would be great if there were more and better places to hide treats. The main spot for hiding treats was inside the outer layer (or inside the tangerine “peel”), which tries to be like a snuffle mat (except, it’s not). I found the treat-hiding spots flimsy, not deep enough, and therefore, not challenging at all for my dog. There are no useful hiding spots in the orange “slices”. Some may be able to squeeze their treats in the holes of the tangerine slices (and I’d love to know how), but my treats broke apart and crumbled to bits, as I was trying to get them in there, so that to me is a total waste. Maybe larger treats would fit better and not turn into a crumbly mess, but for my little pup, I really prefer smaller treats. Anyway, this is hardly what I would consider a “hide and seek” toy, which unfortunately is why I bought it in the first place.Another annoyance I had was that the cheapy Velcro wasn’t attached quite correctly, because my tangerine slices kept coming apart. I tried multiple different ways and perhaps my item was slightly defective, because it wouldn’t stick together. Not a deal breaker, but annoying nonetheless. All in all, it’s an adorable toy and might be fantastic for playing fetch or for a dog that enjoys the crinkle of the tangerine slices, but as a “hide and seek” for treats type of toy, it really misses the mark.

My six pound Chihuahua loves wrestling this toy and managing to get it open. It's a great enrichment. I fill it up with small treats while she watches and she can barely wait to attack it.

This is my dog’s favorite toy and has stayed that way since I got it weeks ago!

My dog is a destructive chewer, so no soft toys can last for long. We do monitor his usage on this and only let him play with it for nose-work as he will try to tear out the squeaker eventually. He loves playing with all parts of it and has made holes at the ends of a couple of the segments.

The toy is multi-part with the peel turning into a snuffle mat once opened. The velcro is strong enough to keep everything together but not too strong to frustrate pups. Lots of hidey spaces to put treats, and the bright color is great for dogs with vision issues.George is in the photo - 4 years old, ~23 lbs, mixed breed terrier / daschund is small-medium sized, and the orange is 2x or more the size of his head.

This is one of the most creative snuffle toys I have ever seen. My dog goes crazy for this toy and looks so cute playing with it. The quality could be better, as some of the slits in the fabric in the parts where you slip in the treats were not cut all the way, and I had to cut these with scissors so we could put treats in them. But it was fine once we did that. My dog can solve this snuffle puzzle pretty quickly now, but she never gets tired of it.
